It is also permissible to add. Moreover, in the 118th verse of the chapter on the "Method of Accomplishment," it is said in two lines, "Collecting separately," etc.: If, after the ten realizations of the two unions are complete, the desires of the mantra practitioners are not fulfilled, then even if one practices life-force exertion, one cannot thereby cause the life-force to enter the central channel. What is said to be practiced in the future is the "Nada" that will be explained, which refers to practicing by confining the bindu in the vajra jewel. By what means? By the forceful action. The lotus is the lotus of the consort, and the vajra resides there. The meaning of this is explained in detail in verses 95 and 96 of that chapter, namely, "Energy," etc. Energy is the life-force. From the center of the central channel of the navel wheel, other than the Rōraṅ (left channel) and Kyaṅma (right channel), to the twelve fingers' end outside the nostrils. If we connect "going to the end," it means twelve fingers go outside, which is the measure of the earth-wind going outside. The so-called "going to the end of the part," the part is sixteen, which means the sky-wind goes sixteen fingers outside. Therefore, the length of going outside, through the space between the two previously short measures, one can also know the measure of the three elements of water, fire, and wind, which are thirteen fingers, fourteen fingers, and fifteen fingers respectively, as the measure of going outside. Restraining the life-force flowing from Rōraṅ and Kyaṅma, putting it into the central channel in the center of the navel wheel, and from that wheel going upwards to the upper wheels, especially until reaching the hole of the crown, even touching the skin outside it like a needle. From which path does it go? From the path of play, that is, the path of giving bliss, the central channel goes upwards, in order to prevent Rōraṅ and Kyaṅma from flowing at the same time. The meaning of "certainly diminishing" is that the flow from Rōraṅ and Kyaṅma diminishes, that is, it is restrained, and it is the meaning of flowing only from the central channel. It is not only the wind that flows, but it flows from there together with the fierce fire. What is it like? It is like immaculate lightning, mixed with the wind, like the shape of a stick. The so-called "rising" means burning. By what method is such a thing done? It is shown by the forceful itself, that is, when stopping the wind in the navel, it must be shaken.

It is called "bya," etc. What is being stimulated? In the base stage, it is the downward-clearing air that travels from below the navel to the two lower orifices. From which channel is it stimulated? From the upper channel, that is, from the central channel above the navel. By what method is it stimulated? By the supreme forceful means. That is to say, it is solely by the powerful force that the downward-clearing air is reversed. The necessity is the blazing of the special fierce fire, etc. Furthermore, if the pairs of winds that flow from the right and left channels are blocked and made to enter the central channel, then by exiting from the Brahma aperture, one will go to the supreme city, which is transference of consciousness and the ability to enter another's body. The winds of the right and left channels entering the central channel, etc., if done as before, one's own mind will be fully awakened as a vajra. By generating and becoming accustomed to special bliss and emptiness, one will obtain the qualities of mastery, such as the body becoming subtle and the touch becoming light, and the mind, together with its objects, moving in the sky, etc., one will obtain eight qualities. By becoming accustomed to bliss and emptiness, one will obtain the five clairvoyances. Furthermore, by the power of the life force merging into the central channel, the yogi himself will be given a special innate quality, and he will also be able to perform the activities of various consorts. Then, if in one's own tradition, for the means of binding the life force that has not been bound in the central channel, by forcefully applying the method, the wind enters the central channel, the fierce fire blazes, and one can also draw down the melting bliss, then the second means, the means of generating unborn bliss, would be meaningless, wouldn't it? If the life force enters the central channel, bliss will arise in that way, but the meaning of "from unborn bliss" is not done for those who have merely not generated bliss, but for the means of generating unchanging bliss relying on a special external consort, one needs a special method of generating and increasing unchanging bliss relying on all action seals, so there is no fault. Second, there are two ways to practice: the way to practice the yoga of becoming accustomed to Nāda (Sanskrit: Nāda, sound), and the way to practice relying on special empty forms. First, Nāda (Sanskrit: Nāda, sound) is just sound, and here the relevant one is the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hūṃ). That is, it means to utter the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hūṃ) in the mouth and simultaneously have the strong visualization of guiding the downward-clearing air upwards. At the time of practice, one first performs guru yoga, mandala offering, supplication prayers, the hundred-syllable mantra, etc., and performs special preliminaries.
