As it arises according to reality. In the context of the Lion's Arising spoken after the completion of the six branches and six perfections, there is no way to contemplate dependent origination in the sutras. Therefore, the first of the two Lion's Arisings spoken is for the purpose of controlling the peak of vision, and the second is for the purpose of entering into sudden transcendence. The views of the noble ones and masters are precisely the intention of the sutras and treatises. Thus, whose view is this? Because it says "again and again," it is considered that abiding in the peak of vision itself is given the name of entering the Lion's Arising. In the Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra, it is said that abiding in the Mother (Prajnaparamita) completes the meditation of the first five, which also symbolizes abiding in the other five, and it is connected to the Sutra of the Peak of Vision, and after that it says "all skillful means of meditation will be completed," and this sutra is explained in the Ornament of Clear Realization. The third is entering into samadhi. Who enters into samadhi? It is the yogi who has attained the peak of the path of seeing, that is, the one on the path of seeing. Where does he enter? He enters into the samadhi of the Lion's Arising. Its definition is that because there is no fear or dread of the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and the obscurations of knowledge, just as a lion does not fear other wild animals. The word "and so on" has an unfinished meaning, so the phrase "to truly understand" is quoted. What is understood? Dependent origination is understood. When is it understood? After entering the Lion's Arising in samadhi, it is understood in the subsequent attainment. The subsequent attainment here is in the path of meditation, as explained in the Lamp of Wisdom, and is consistent with other treatises. How is it understood? It is understood as conforming to the law and not conforming to the law. What are these two? That is, "with ignorance as the condition, there are actions," and so on, and between birth as the condition and old age and death, and with old age and death as the condition, when sorrow, lamentation, suffering, distress, and turmoil arise, they are observed separately, and it is understood that this pure aggregate of suffering arises. And when old age and death cease, sorrow and so on cease, and when birth ceases, old age and death cease. And so on, between the cessation of ignorance and the cessation of actions, they are observed separately, and it is understood that this pure aggregate of suffering ceases, these two understandings. In this way, in the sutras, regarding the contaminated

According to what is said about the two ways of forward and reverse order of purification, the reverse and forward order of those two should also be expressed and observed. Abhidharma. Explaining ignorance ceasing, actions cease, etc., in the reverse order is inconsistent with the sutra at this time, and neither forward nor reverse order is permissible, so it should be abandoned. Therefore, that is the forward order of purification, and because of the condition of birth, old age and death, etc., is the reverse order of samsara. Why is it reverse and forward order? Because first birth is later, later birth is first, and it is examined in reverse from that. In the explanation of the Compendium, the combination of old age and death, the arising of old age and death, the cessation of old age and death, the path to the cessation of old age and death, etc., are all said to be the reverse order of samsara in the establishment of truth. In the Basis of the Earth, why is dependent origination shown in the reverse order from old age and death? It is because it is done in the way of showing the truth, just as birth and old age and death are completely distinguished by the truth of suffering, it seems obvious that this is what is thought. The meaning of this scripture is: birth and old age are the most ultimate result of affliction, so it is because it is the truth of suffering. Thinking about arising from old age and death, and then about ceasing, is for being skilled in the truth of suffering and the truth of cessation that ceases it. Thinking about arising from ignorance, and then about ceasing, is for being skilled in the truth of origin and the truth of the path. Ignorance and action are the truth of the origin, and its cessation is the path, so the explanation does not understand the intention of the Basis of the Earth, this is what the lama with the eye of Dharma said. Here, from the explanation of how to practice, it is extended to examine the limits of dependent origination in eight sections. Here, there are eight aspects to examine the limits of dependent origination slightly: the general nature, the individual differences and summaries, the reason for becoming a cause, the respective functions, how many lives are completed, the establishment of the same ground, how to practice, and the benefits of practicing in this way. First, in the Distinguishing Sutra, it says: When this exists, that arises. When this is born, that is born. That is to say, because of ignorance, there are actions, etc.
