Having not understood "is not," having separated from the three: wrong view, doubt, and hesitation, the valid ascertainment arises correctly in all ways. The term "empty of forms" is explained in the Clear Words (Prasannapada) as representing the inexhaustible responses based on the method of the two truths, and the Three Hundred Thousand Verses (Prajnaparamita Sutra) states that many types of conceptualizations to be refuted are refuted, and the White Illumination (Togkar) mentions numerous opponents such as the great god Ishvara and Vishnu. However, it is best to understand it according to the previously explained reasoning, as it enters into the meaning of the word "many." By what method are these wrong views refuted? By being skilled in the method of relying on both truths, without saying that the two truths are the sole object. The reason why this method is necessary to refute them is that for points with the doors of ultimate and conventional, one must answer in sequence from the perspective of the conventional and ultimate. Although wrong views are limitless, they are explained as sixteen for the sake of benefiting those who are easily tamed. The third is wisdom, etc. This is a treatise on the instructions of the Prajnaparamita, the Ornament for Clear Realization (Abhisamayalankara) and its commentaries, the extensive explanation called The Golden Rosary of Good Explanations (Legshed Sergyi Trengwa), composed by the greatly learned Shar Tsongkhapa Losang Drakpa. The explanation of the fifth chapter is completed. The explanation of the sixth chapter begins. The second is the entry into the four applications, the second of the detailed explanation of the limbs of the four applications is the detailed explanation of the stable cause and effect limbs. The outline here is extensive, first explaining the connecting part, second the stable cause and effect limbs, the detailed explanation is divided into two parts: the gradual cause of stability and the momentary limbs of the stable result, detailed explanation. The first part has three: connecting with relational words, detailed explanation of the gradual Dharma, summarizing the chapters. The first is: below the peak, the gradual clear realization is proclaimed, because having obtained the clear realization of the peak, one must cultivate it. What is cultivated? It is the realization of the individual and the collective, that is, the things that have been known. On this, the Clear Words (Prasannapada) says: What is shown by each chapter, and in each chapter of the path of accumulation, etc., how much is realized after attainment is individual, and what is realized in samadhi, the essential meaning, the Dharmadhatu is collective. The White Illumination (Togkar) says direct and reverse.

The arising of realization, that is, through cultivation becoming an object, there are two explanations for this. The Hundred Thousand Verses (of the Prajñāpāramitā in One Hundred Thousand Verses) explain the three wisdoms and the aspects of all aspects in sequence. However, the point is that, in the Sunlight Treatise, it says, "The three omniscient natures are also summarized and shown through the gate of direct realization, and again shown separately through each gate of direct realization, all of which are thus summarized in the direct realization of the peak, and the paths of the separate ones are closely arranged." Therefore, summarizing the three wisdoms into three direct realizations is a summary, and the paths that are extensively explained through the gates of generation of mind, etc., are separate. In short, all direct realizations are contained in the three wisdoms, so these three are the meaning of brief summary and extensive determination, and again it is cultivation. This application is said to be the sequential cultivation of the three wisdoms, so how can one measure with the mind and establish it on it in sequence? For what purpose? In order to be stable, that is, in order to enter into spontaneous accomplishment without effort. Excellence refers to being more excellent than what was cultivated before, and cultivation is to make the mind a partaker of that or a substance of that. This is what is said in the Clear Words. The connection of the sutra is: In the sixteenth wrong conception, it is said that one realizes the emptiness of all phenomena and attains enlightenment, from which it is inferred that, if so, how can the gradual conduct, learning, and diligent action of the great bodhisattva attaining enlightenment be established? These were proclaimed in the answer to the question. The second part is divided into two: the teaching and the explanation. The first part is divided into three: the gradualness of the path is that generosity to wisdom is considered to be a gradual action, and the word "between" indicates that it includes the four intermediate pāramitās. It should not be like Kulanta, including mindfulness, etc. The great bodhisattva excellently establishes the gradual action of generosity, excellently establishes the gradual learning and the gradual accomplishment, all of which are without object. Why? Because in this way, it has no self-nature. The other five are also established in the same way, thus proclaiming that the six perfections abide in oneself and establish others on them. The gradualness that makes the path special is that, with the Buddha, etc., remembering the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, discipline, generosity, and gods, as before.
