Therefore, (through) cultivation-born (wisdom), one will realize all truths, and will become a vessel for the state of liberation. Thus it is said that it is cultivation-born (wisdom). The antidote (to afflictions) is the realization of truths, and becoming a vessel capable of actually abandoning what is to be abandoned. From the *Light of the Sun*: It should be known that all of these are of the nature of hearing and thinking. Because it is the cause of entering the teachings only at the beginning. As stated in the *Treasury of Knowledge*, in the *Clear Words*, the noble one (Chandrakirti) seems to have quoted (this view) as a reason for not accepting cultivation-born (wisdom), but it would be better if one considered that cultivation-born (wisdom) is not the main thing. From the *Clear Words*: It is a mistake to regard the special accumulation path and the part of liberation as one. In this treatise, (regarding) the first three bodhicittas as vessels capable of understanding the path of practice, and placing the first of the fifteen combinations, namely the four means of gathering activities, etc., in the accumulation path and the part of liberation. Third, the general characteristics of the accumulation path, as stated in the *Commentary on the Treasury of Knowledge*: Whoever hears the words describing the faults of samsara, selflessness, and the qualities of nirvana, if he feels goosebumps, and sheds tears, then it should be known that he has the root of virtue corresponding to the part of liberation, just as from the seedlings growing in spring one knows that there are seeds in the heap of grain. Therefore, even if a single root of virtue arising from the thought of renunciation arises in the mind, it is considered to have obtained a bit of the direction of the accumulation path. The signs of the special accumulation path, as stated in the *Light of the Sun*: What is it that indicates it? The sign of this corresponding to the part of liberation is threefold, namely, the characteristic of not being discouraged, not being frightened, the characteristic of not being afraid, not being scared, and the characteristic of not having regret in mind, not becoming afraid, etc., meaning not being afraid of the profound meaning. Why is it called corresponding to the part of liberation? From the *Light of the Sun*: Here, liberation is the characteristic of separation, and because it helps the part of liberation, it is corresponding to the part of liberation. Thus it is said. From the *Clear Words*: The separation from the grossest karma and afflictions that cause rebirth in the eight unfree states, etc., and the heat, etc., are explained as liberation. The second part of explaining the meaning of the part of liberation is the meaning of the limbs, namely, the object to be tamed that is to be done for the sake of the adornment combined with the treatise.

Furthermore, during the stage of the path of accumulation, one becomes skilled, etc., by generating the five objects such as faith in one's own mindstream. The second aspect has two parts: the essence and the divisions. The first aspect has two parts, the first being: From the initial generation of the great Bodhicitta, continuously engaging in generosity, etc., without being separated from the mind of all-knowingness, and meditating up to the state of all-knowingness itself, without taking it as a sign. What is said in this way is summarized as "without signs," etc. The second is: Desire. Where? Liberation, etc. Where? The wisdom that realizes emptiness, with the aspect of knowledge that does not fixate on phenomena as having signs, from the perfections of generosity, etc., up to all-knowingness, the practitioner on the path of accumulation is skilled in generating these in their own mindstream. Bodhisattvas who have not attained warmth may focus on sentient beings, but their focus on the benefit of others is weak, so they cannot exchange self and others, therefore, in their own mindstream. It is said. At what time? From the aspect to this, that is, here. The second aspect has three parts, the first being: If asked, what is it that is skilled in generating in the mindstream? In order to indicate that, these two intermediate phrases are spoken. The second aspect has two parts: division from the perspective of essence and mindstream. The first is: On the path of accumulation, there are five aspects from faith to wisdom. These are also the Buddhas of the three times, etc., therefore, the faith that focuses on these uncontaminated five aggregates and three liberations without taking them as signs is: without being separated from the Mother and skillful means, the Buddhas of the three times and the past, future, and present Buddhas, the Bhagavat, those aggregates of discipline and the aggregates of samadhi and the aggregates of wisdom and the aggregates of liberation and the aggregates of the wisdom of liberation, all of those are not taken as signs in the mind, the samadhi of emptiness is not taken as a sign, and it is said similarly for the other two. Shariputra, the great Bodhisattva will not abide in the ground of the Hearers and the ground of the Solitary Buddhas, and he will not decline or diminish, but it should be known that he will manifestly awaken to complete perfect enlightenment in unsurpassed complete enlightenment. It is said. Among these, falling refers to falling into the ground of Hearers, etc. Declining refers to declining from the great Bodhicitta. The diligence that has the sphere of activity of generosity, etc., is: initially generating the great Bodhicitta.
