Among them, each of the four has seven sutras. Regarding this, some explain that Subhuti spoke of the aspects of knowledge, and the Tathagata spoke of the aspects of meaning, while others explain it the other way around. However, both Subhuti and the Tathagata each spoke of both the aspects of meaning and the aspects of knowledge as appropriate. For example, by "non-existence" it shows the aspect of meaning, and by "its perfection of wisdom" it shows the aspect of knowledge, both of which are shown covered by words; and as in "because space does not exist," it directly shows the aspect of meaning of impermanence, and indirectly shows the aspect of knowledge of realizing its non-existence. Third, regarding these sutras, the venerable one said, "Starting from the aspect of non-existence," etc., thereby demarcating that from here to here, the aspects of the basis knowledge, the path knowledge, and the all-aspect knowledge are shown. Although he did not directly demarcate the aspect of the path knowledge, it is thought that it is easy to understand that the middle one is the aspect of the path knowledge because the beginning and end were established for the basis knowledge and the all-aspect knowledge. Furthermore, among the hundred and ten aspects mentioned in brief, the venerable one distinguished that the thirty-seven, thirty-four, and thirty-nine aspects are the aspects of the three knowledges. That is the way to demarcate the sutra, and the way shown here is that the aspect of knowledge is shown briefly, and the aspect of meaning is mainly shown in detail. As it says in the Nyisnang, "On this basis, the four noble truths are relied upon, and it shows how many aspects there are in any truth in the context of the three all-knowledges." Therefore, that is the demarcation of the detailed explanation. That is, in the first two knowledges, all four truths are spoken of, and in the last one, a small part of the path truth is spoken of. The reason for speaking of a small part of the path truth and what those aspects are will be explained at that time as to what the aspect of meaning and the aspect of knowledge of the all-aspect knowledge are. Fourth, then, among these aspects, what is to be meditated upon? Some explain that the previous ones are to be meditated upon after cutting off the superimposition and defamation of the hundred and three aspects of meaning with the hundred and three aspects of knowledge, so the aspect of meaning itself is to be meditated upon. However, the intention of the scriptures saying to meditate on the aspects by combining them seems to be mainly to meditate on the aspect of knowledge itself. The paths, etc., with the object-oriented aspects of the difference in the wisdom of the three knowledges with objects, understand the difference in the qualities of the object-oriented four truths in this way.
