I, whether Brahmin, god, demon, Brahma, or anyone else, cannot see the cause that would truly oppose the Dharma in this world. Here, because I do not truly see that cause, I abide having attained happiness, having attained fearlessness, and having attained non-fear. I vow to the position of the supreme bull. I roar the lion's roar in the assembly. I will perfectly turn the wheel of Brahma, which no ascetic, Brahmin, god, demon, Brahma, or anyone else can turn in the world with the Dharma. This is the first sutra. The second sutra is: Alas! I have exhausted the defilements, thus I vow, but these defilements have not been completely exhausted. This is the accusation against me by ascetics, etc. The third sutra is: Whatever I have taught as the Dharma of obstruction, if one relies on them, they will not become the Dharma of obstruction, such a situation does not exist. Here, this is the accusation against me by ascetics, etc. The fourth sutra is: The noble path of definite liberation that I have taught, if one practices it, it will not lead to definite liberation for the sake of truly ending suffering, such a situation does not exist. Here, even if I truly practice it, suffering will not be truly ended, this is what ascetics, etc., will say. Among them, ascetics and Brahmins are those who are arrogant due to wisdom. Gods and demons are those who are perfect due to the divine eye and knowing the minds of others, etc. Brahma is the one with great power and miraculous abilities. Therefore, because they are highly arrogant, they are mentioned. By the power of attaining happiness without the body's hairs standing on end, without fear, etc., I vow to the position of the awakened bull, because the activity of the body is pure. By the power of attaining fearlessness without timidity or inferiority in speech, I proclaim like a lion, because the activity of speech is pure. By the power of attaining non-fear without doubt or timidity in the mind, I turn the wheel of Dharma like Brahma, because the activity of the mind is pure. Or, Brahma is the one who transcends all, therefore he is the Tathagata. The third is the third of the distinctions of qualities, which is the explanation of the aspects of the four individual correct knowledges.

The "ma" (མ་པ་ནི།) refers to the four aspects of individual perfect knowledge (སོ་སོ་ཡང་དག་པར་རིག་པའི་རྣམ་པ་བཞིའོ།). What are they? Whether it is the twelve divisions of scripture, or the objects of the categories of expressive names such as "White Light" (འོད་དཀར་ཅན་) and "Rabbit Light" (རི་བོང་ཅན་), there is no attachment to savoring their taste, and one enters without being obstructed by the obscuration of knowledge. This is the aspect of individual perfect knowledge of the Dharma (ཆོས་སོ་སོ་ཡང་དག་པར་རིག་པའི་རྣམ་པ་དང༌།); the objects of the expressed meaning of the twelve divisions, or the self and general characteristics of the dharmas, are the meaning as before; the objects of the languages belonging to the six realms of beings, or the languages of various places, are the definitive words, etc., as before; for the sake of showing to others, the manifestation of the three dharmas, etc., or the nature of the entities and the various distinctions of the existing and imputed dharmas, etc., are fearlessness, etc., as before. These are also individual perfect knowledge because there is no attachment or obstruction to the four objects. The fourth is the fourth of the various distinctions of qualities, which explains the eighteen aspects of the Buddha's unmixed dharmas. The fourth is that the Buddha's eight qualities of Dharma have eighteen aspects that are not mixed with others. The reason is: six are gathered by conduct, six are gathered by realization, three are gathered by activity, and three are gathered by wisdom. Thus it is. The first of these is that the six faults of teaching that may occur to the Hearer Arhats of the Lesser Vehicle do not occur to the Tathagata. There is no harm from elephants, cows, fierce dogs, etc., and there is no confusion from trampling on black snakes with feet, etc. The actions of the body are pure; there is no noise from getting lost and making loud noises, and there is no noise from uttering great wrong views due to the influence of habits. The actions of speech are pure; there is no forgetting and losing what needs to be done, and there is no loss of mindfulness from missing the right time; whether in meditation or not, there is no unevenness of mind at all times; there is no notion of difference arising from incompatibility with existence and peace and clinging to peace; there is no abandonment of the meaning of taming beings without separately examining the time, etc. These four are the purification of the actions of mind, thus there are six. The word "aspect" is also at the end of the previous ones. It is the same for the following ones. The second is the Tathagata.
