All things are inherently empty. This explains that all dharmas are free from inherent existence and elaboration, therefore, clinging to self-nature in Tathagatas etc. is shown to be a very subtle attachment. The third is: profound emptiness is explained by applying the root characteristics and the emptiness of essence as proof. Furthermore, attachment to form etc. is also an inconsistent aspect. The third part has three points. The first is: If this is a subtle attachment, then how should one abandon this to-be-abandoned thing with what antidote? The second is: Attachment is abandoned by knowing that all dharmas are without self-nature and have one self-nature. This is because the self-nature of dharmas is not dual. Subhuti, the self-nature of dharmas is exhausted in one. Whatever is the self-nature of dharmas is not self-nature. Whatever is not self-nature, that is self-nature. Whatever is self-nature, that is manifest and unconditioned. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva thus knows and sees the one self-nature of dharmas, which is non-self-nature, manifest and unconditioned, then all extremes of attachment are completely abandoned. The third point is: The knowing consciousness and the knowable objects are one in equality, etc. How is it known as one in equality? It is knowing that all dharmas such as form are only one nature, and the way of knowing is also like this, that is, knowing them to be equal to "no self-nature." The fourth part has two points: profound and the reason for being difficult to realize. The first part has three points. The first is: How is it that all dharmas are inherently, from the very beginning, profound in being free from elaboration, and for what reason? This is not only to explain the reason for subtle attachment, but also to understand the following. The second point is: Seeing etc., Prajna is difficult to realize. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is like this, Prajna is not seen, heard, known, distinguished, or manifestly enlightened by anyone. The third point is: Discrimination is all knowing consciousness. The explanation is from the Sutra. The second part has three points. The first is: What is the reason why it is so difficult to realize that self-nature cannot be made an object by consciousness? The second point is: Form etc., Prajna is inconceivable. The Blessed One

Nadas said: "Subhuti, it is like this, no one can fully understand Prajnaparamita, that is, it cannot be understood through form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Even the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha cannot be understood." Thus it is said. According to this sutra, if it says "with form etc." with the word of the agent, it seems correct, but saying "not understanding form etc." is to obstruct their nature in the object of knowledge. The views of the two great commentaries seem to complement each other, and it should be said that the sutra prohibits the knower, and the treatise prohibits the object of knowledge, so do not speak the demonic words that the sutra and the treatise are inconsistent. In addition, the "Sunlight Commentary" and other three parts quote the sutra saying, from form to the unshared dharmas. The third is, the nature is enlightenment etc. The reason is: it is considered to be a realm beyond thought, therefore. That is, for what reason? Because the nature from form to the unshared aspects cannot be fully understood, that is because it cannot be made into a real object. The third has three: The first is, as mentioned above, the basis of the unshared aspect and the antidote aspect included in the word "etc.", that is, knowing the two has been stated, and then their conclusion is declared. The second is, it should be known. Where should it be known? From the unshared to the complete. Where? In the all-knowing nature, that is, the occasion. How should it be known? As mentioned earlier. The third is, it should be known. Where should it be known? In the detailed distinction between the unshared aspect and the antidote aspect. Whose are these two? The path of the Hearers and the Solitary Buddhas included in the word "etc." is the first, and the path of the Bodhisattvas and the Buddhas included in the word "etc." is the second. Where? In all etc. How should it be known? Like the aggregates of form etc., and in generosity etc., like the way of abandoning and antidoting mentioned earlier. The fourth has two: the nature and appearance of the application. The first has three: The first is, as mentioned above, the unshared aspect and the antidote two included in the word "etc." have been stated, and then the path of application is declared, that is, after understanding the nature of abandoning and antidoting, if someone asks, what is the application of meditating on them as unattainable? Because it is necessary to answer this question. The so-called path of application is that object...
