Starting from "Kuju." So, are there also four types of conceptualization to be abandoned in meditation, and should they be matched with four metaphors? In the stage of the path of seeing, it appears as divided into four key points. At this time, if unborn etc. are combined into one, it will become three metaphors, so it is made into nine types, and the abandonment to be cultivated is divided into nine types from the perspective of large and small, but the abandonment to be seen is not divided in this way. Therefore, like sunlight, during the path of meditation, one should also follow the rules with conceptualizations and metaphors. It is said that. Because nine metaphors have appeared, conceptualizations must also be made into nine types, and those are also clearly considered to have reached the tenth ground of the path of meditation at this time because they are placed sequentially on the nine grounds. In this way, this thought of the noble ones is difficult, and the commentators have also abandoned it, so I will explain it here. The antidote, the path of no interval, is: the light of the sun's disk appearing manifestly, without a place, invisible, and so on. The path of abandonment and liberation is: when the fire of the eon burns, all aspects of phenomena have no place, invisible, and so on. Completely abandoning the conceptualizations of the antidote and the unfavorable side, that is, abandoning is: the discipline of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, has no place for bad discipline, and so on. Similarly, for his concentration, wisdom, liberation, and the vision of the wisdom of liberation, there is no place for distraction, wrong knowledge, non-liberation, and not seeing the wisdom of liberation, and so on. Here, the five aggregates of non-contamination indicate the antidote, and the five to be abandoned indicate the abandonment of conceptualizations of the unfavorable side. The previous abandonment connects the boundaries of habits, and this indicates the abandonment of the obscuration of knowledge. Wisdom and compassion are: the light of the sun and moon has no place, and so on. This indicates that wisdom and compassion burn in sequence, and because of desires etc., they will not be liberated from samsara no matter how long they exist, so it indicates that they do not abide in either samsara or nirvana. The disciple, the Hearer, and the uncommon path are: the Hearer and the Solitary Buddha, as well as the planets and stars, as well as the wish-fulfilling jewel and the light of lightning have no place, and so on. This indicates the wisdom of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas symbolized by the light of the planets etc., and the uncommon wisdom that shines in the boundless world.

It is said to be of trustworthy appearance. To accomplish the benefit of others in accordance with one's capacity, the light of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings has no place to dwell and is invisible. Similarly, it is said up to Akanishta. This, like the order of the heavenly realms, is said to be the cause of worldly goodness becoming more and more excellent. The basis for entering without effort of wisdom is that the light of the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly complete Buddhas has no place to dwell and is invisible. Some say that this last one, the wisdom without effort, is the Buddha-ground, and entering there is the end of the tenth ground. This is unreasonable, because the meaning of entering does not appear there as entering another, but rather appears as the way wisdom itself enters. This (view) is considered by the noble ones to be the Buddha-ground, as it is said: There, the basis for entering into spontaneously accomplished wisdom is this, the spontaneously accomplished wisdom that abides in the benefit of all sentient beings and in the bliss of the seen Dharma, is called the Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly complete Buddha. Although this is explained, the "Sun Essence" says that it becomes thirteen through the distinction of different stages of practice. Because this must also be counted as one of the thirteen practices, it is evident that establishing it on the path of the tenth ground is (the author's) intention, therefore count the basis of establishment, but do not count the thirteen established dharmas. As for how to divide it into thirteen, some do it by separating wisdom and compassion, which is meaningless, therefore, like both the "Sun Essence" and the "Eight Thousand Verses," the antidote and abandonment are separated to make thirteen. The third (part) has four (aspects): the nature of the basis dharma, the order, the definite number, and the boundaries of the grounds. First, at the beginning of the thirteen practices, the four worldly definitive discriminations arise. For the time being, it shows the order. After it arises, the supramundane path of seeing and the path of cultivation below the seventh ground arise, which are the six dharmas of realization. After that, the thief of the power of those six dharmas arising, taken out from within, that is, like taking it out, is the antidote without interruption that is abandoning what is to be abandoned.
