Pages 401 to 500. Pages 401 to 500. The scriptures, when showing the object-aspect, always show it as if universally guiding the dharma-nature of the object-aspect. Even so, if asked whether understanding the dharma can lead to understanding the subject of dharma, then, apart from the specific differences of rejecting dissimilar kinds and not rejecting non-contradictions, there is actually no difference between dharma and the subject of dharma in these verbal distinctions, because it comes from the rules of treatises on reasoning. Therefore, saying "tree" and saying "tree-ness" are both like saying "tree"; wherever the object-aspect is shown, if it is not explicitly stated in words to be related to the Four Noble Truths, then those object-aspects are also established as belonging to the Four Noble Truths. If dharma and the subject of dharma are not one, the other will not arise, so refuting by understanding the subject of dharma is completely unacceptable. The second case is that, in one way, either for the sake of composing verses, because of the fear of contradicting the poetic meter, instead of directly stating the subject of dharma, it is expressed differently, using "eliminating manifest clinging" etc. to universally guide the subject of dharma truth, even if the classification of object-aspects is mentioned, the truths such as suffering are the subject of dharma, and only what belongs there is the dharma of object and aspect, the commentators should explain it in this way. Why should it be explained in this way? Because if we measure the self, etc., which eliminates manifest clinging, etc., by valid cognition, it is actually separated from arising and ceasing, and it is unreasonable to produce results sequentially and simultaneously. Like a rabbit's horn, because it is empty of negation and establishment, it does not exist in either of the two truths, so if we see that it should not become the basis of dharma, then in essence, the truths are understood there, because they exist in conventional truth. Moreover, for the following ones, wherever only dharma is shown, it should be understood as the subject of dharma according to the previously stated rules, even if the Four Noble Truths are not mentioned, this is how it is explained. According to this view, for the above scriptures, it should also be said that the object is explained by the special subject of dharma and dharma, and both the object-aspects are said to be dharma, considering the truth as the subject of dharma, and the scriptures of special other rejection and non-rejection, etc.

From things of other common things, it has dependence on reversal. The meaning of these two sentences is easily confused, explaining the meaning of "excluding other differences" and "not excluding" as reversing or not reversing from dissimilar things. Although later commentators consider this explanation reasonable, it is not the author's intention, because the author explains the object as Dharma and incorrectly explains "excluding other differences" and "not excluding." Therefore, the meaning of the holy one is this: In this case, the object is the subject of knowledge as the basis of the Dharma, and the aspect is the method of knowing that object, which is the Dharma, so it is the relationship between the dependent and the basis. Moreover, since this is the case of the object and aspect of Abhisamaya, it is the truth and the Dharmas above it. In this way, whatever is the object should be expressed by the words of the four truths of the subject, and the aspects should be expressed by the words expressing the Dharma above it. However, in the case of low temperature, it is shown that the object is contained in the words of the truth, and in the case of other objects, it is shown that it is not contained in its words. Some people think that the object and aspect below the medium temperature do not belong to the four truths, because it is not shown to be related to the four truths of the subject. Therefore, the expression of the object and aspect will be reversed, because the object is the subject and the aspects should be expressed by the words expressing the Dharma, but both are expressed by the Dharma. There are two answers to this: one is that the meanings expressed by the two words are not different, and the other is that the subject is understood by the power of meaning. The first point is that if it is said that whatever is the object should be expressed by the subject with the difference of Dharma, and the aspects should be expressed by the Dharma with the difference of the subject, then the sentence "the object is impermanent, etc., is the basis of the truth" can only be expressed by the words containing the four truths of the subject. It cannot be said that there are Dharma and subject there like the Abhidharmakosha, because that is the discussion of the object, not the discussion of the aspect. Except for the eleven objects and twelve aspects other than this, in all cases of showing the object and aspect with the words of the Dharma with differences, there is no fault of not expressing the subject, because these words of Dharma and subject have differences, reversals, and other exclusions in order.
