It is considered as my thing. The basis of confusion of these three is successively the three: aggregates, sources, and realms. The fifth is, I am all the afflictions from ignorance to old age and death. The sixth is, I am separated from desire from the lower ground by the worldly samadhi and the formless path. The seventh is, I am the path of directly seeing the nature of the four truths. The eighth is, I am the meditation path that has become the nature of those who finally abide in liberation. The ninth is, I consider the substance of the basis of the no-learning path, which has accomplished the meaning or necessity of studying this correctly, as my thing. Among them, the first four are considered as my nature, and the rest are considered to be related to me. The fifth is all afflictions, the sixth is the world, and the rest are considered as the basis of purity beyond the world. In short, it is clinging to the clinging person who is the basis of all afflictions and purity, becoming a substance that is only Dharma. These nine kinds of discrimination are taught in the sutra from the perspective of not observing the object, through the antidote door. As it is said in the Sunlight Sutra: The observation of valid quantity and the aggregates, sources, realms, dependent origination, and separation from desire from the lower ground, and the meaning of meditation that directly sees the truth, and directly realizes it with the body, etc., are successively said to be the antidotes to the first eight kinds of discrimination, but the antidote is not said to the last one. The second is the person, that is, the clinging discrimination of the dependent one who is falsely established for the clinging person. If classified, there are nine kinds, that is, from the perspective of discriminating against the nine kinds of objects. What are the nine kinds of objects? The first is the aggregates of form, etc., as it is said in the Sutra Requested by Victorious Heaven: Good appearance, what do you think? Is form different from (me), and is illusion different from (me)? Are feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness also different from (me), and is illusion also different from (me)? He replied: World Honored One, it is not like that. The second is the source of the eye, etc., the third is the eighteen realms such as the form realm, the fourth is the twelve dependent originations such as ignorance, the fifth is the purity of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the sixth is the path of seeing the nature of the three doors of liberation, the seventh is the meditation path of samadhi formlessness, and the eighth is the Hearer.

Among others, the most excellent is the special path of realizing emptiness; the ninth is the path of no more learning, such as the powers. The first four are illusions of karma, and the rest are merely imputations generated by the illusion of wisdom. That is to say, the twelve sources, the eighteen realms, the twelve links of dependent origination, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the three doors of liberation, the four concentrations, the four formless absorptions, emptiness, the powers, and even the non-mixing, are also considered illusions to others, or are they also other illusions? Like this, all of these are said to be merely imputations without substance, therefore, they are taught in the sutras from the perspective of showing the object. The way of clinging to it is to cling to the clinging of merely imputation. The fourth is like the clinging mentioned earlier, and so on. The third has three aspects, the first of which is: In the entry obstacle of conceptualization, the entirety is taught with one verse. Then, if it contradicts the summary and the order, should it also be taught before conceptualization in the detailed explanation? In the summary, the necessity of teaching the entirety before conceptualization is to be consistent with the verse of the summary of the object's appearance, that is, to make it easy to combine. Even so, the necessity of teaching it last in the detailed explanation is to show that the object's appearance, the three causes, and conceptualization, as mentioned earlier, become the distinguishing dharma, which is due to the power of that entirety. Moreover, the former is to welcome the nature of doubt and accept it from the opponent, while the latter is not only necessary to say first in the summary. The second is that the noble one connects the first and last feet with skillful means, connects the second and last feet with a virtuous friend, and the third is to show the dissimilar aspects of those two, therefore, it explains the difference between the two. Among them, skillful means is: For fear, dread, and extreme dread, that is, for the antidotes to the three fears of small, medium, and large, the reason why the mind does not shrink back, truly does not shrink back, and truly shrinking back will not change, is that it possesses the all-knowing mind. For the five aggregates, by not observing impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness, peace, solitude, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, one observes them separately, and shows those five aggregates as impermanent, etc.; for impermanence, etc., there is no supreme grasping with attention; for the six elements, one considers impermanence, etc., and observes endurance separately; aggregates, etc.
