Experiences various states. That also causes this great earth to shake violently. From one becomes many. Thus it is said. Dhyana-born samadhi and wisdom also apply to the remaining five superknowledges. Divine ear superknowledge is: Hearing small sounds and large sounds existing in all realms of the world. That is because the divine ear realm is pure and superhuman, it can hear the sounds of both gods and humans. Thus it is said. Superhuman is accomplished through form realm dhyana, as said by Ocean of Clouds. Mind-reading superknowledge is: Knowing the minds of other sentient beings, including those with and without desire, etc. Therefore, he can truly know the minds of other sentient beings and people. Similarly, it is also said about being separated from and having the three poisons, etc. Although this superknowledge can also know the mental events of others, it is said to be mind-consciousness because at the time of initial practice, there is a desire to know the minds of others. The superknowledge of remembering previous lives is: Remembering countless lifetimes of oneself and others. That is, with the superknowledge of remembering previous lives, one can remember even one lifetime. One can also remember two, three, or even hundreds of thousands of lifetimes. Thus it is said. The Vaibhashikas do not believe that one can remember what one has not experienced oneself. Activating dhyana in this life, that is, the divine eye superknowledge arising from the power of meditation, is: Being able to see the death and birth of all sentient beings in the ten directions, and all their superior, inferior, and middling forms. That is, with the pure and superhuman divine eye, one can clearly know the death and birth of sentient beings, as well as colors that are ugly and not ugly, good and bad, and those who, according to their karma, are approaching good and bad destinies. Thus it is said. So, what is the difference between this and the divine eye? The noble one said that the former and latter are, in order, the karma of previous lives and what is born from the power of meditation in this life, and this teacher also followed that. The Hundred Thousand Verses added eye and superknowledge on top of that.

The categories are different, the former is only the death and transfer of sentient beings in the ten directions, while this one can see all forms, so it is the difference of the object, that is, three differences, this statement is unreasonable. Whether the categories are the same or not is the focus of the dispute, and the sutra says that seeing forms refers to the sentient beings who are dying and transferring themselves. Therefore, the former is reasonable. The direct perception of the exhaustion of outflows is the abandonment or the process of abandoning the seeds of afflictions such as attachment and the cognitive obscurations of grasping and attachment, that is, manifesting non-arising, directly realizing the wisdom of direct perception, not falling into the ground of the Hearers or the Solitary Buddhas, but to attain Buddhahood by directly and completely awakening to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and not desiring any other dharma besides this. Thus it is said. Thus, these six direct perceptions also depend on which ground they are based on, and that ground and the lower ground have the ability of supernormal powers, etc., while the upper ground does not have the ability, as stated in the Abhidharmakośa: 'The object of oneself and the lower ground.' It is also said that the nature is also, 'The six direct perceptions are the wisdom of liberation.' It is said to be the path of liberation. 'The direct perceptions of the eye and ear are unindicated, and the rest are virtuous.' Thus it is said. In the Compendium, the nature of all six is said to be wisdom and samādhi. The eye and ear depend on the sense organs, and the remaining four depend on the mind. Thirdly, in the 'Subduing Mara' chapter of the Hundred Thousand Verses, it is said: 'The direct perceptions of worldly people, Hearers, and Solitary Buddhas are only knowing the minds of those who are equal to or lower than themselves, while the direct perceptions of pure Bodhisattvas have no obstruction in knowing the power of the Buddhas, the Bhagavan, and the higher grounds.' Fourthly, the first five direct perceptions are also common with non-Buddhists, and the great accumulation path of the Mahayana has corresponding ones, as stated in the Diamond Sutra, 'According to the circumstances, in the stages of the accumulation ground and the higher grounds, the five eyes are obtained separately with the distinctions of superior and supreme, and the six direct perceptions are also obtained.' Generally speaking, Hearers and Solitary Buddhas also have this characteristic, but this is an explanation of the exhaustion of outflows that eliminates the two obscurations. However,
