That which has completely destroyed the habitual tendencies is called the unmixed Dharma of the Buddha. That is to say, with regard to the two, the defiled afflictions and the afflictions with defilements, the former is abandoned by the Hearer Arhat, and the latter is abandoned only by the Buddha. Because it is said that way, this and the ground of ignorance habitual tendencies are the same meaning. If it is not like that, if one has abandoned everything including the habitual tendencies of the two obscurations at the end of the continuum, then it will become a state of having nothing left, therefore it will be inferred that one has the five wisdoms, and it will be inferred that completely destroying the habitual tendencies is not the uncommon quality of the Buddha, and it will be inferred that one has manifested the Dharmakaya, and so on, there are infinite faults. If there is something to be abandoned on the Buddha ground, then will it become that one has the stains of being a Buddha, is that a fault? There will be no such fault, because the afflictions that are present on the tenth ground, as long as the first omniscient wisdom has not arisen, they will continuously arise by connecting the previous and the later, but at the time when that wisdom is obtained, the continuum will stop, therefore it is considered to be abandoned by the Buddha ground, and it is not abandoned after the Buddha's wisdom has arisen. Similarly, if the objects to be abandoned that are present on the previous grounds, if the later grounds have not arisen, they will continuously arise, therefore the power of the later grounds arising, makes it so that at the time of the later grounds, one does not get the opportunity to arise, and it is considered to be abandoned by the later grounds. It is not that one abandons something that is to be abandoned after the antidote has been applied. The sixth is: on the first ground, this world of the three thousand great thousand worlds is completely filled with one hundred billion treasures; on the second ground, that world becomes like the palm of one's hand, and is beautifully adorned with one hundred billion jewels; on the third ground, one is brave and subdues all external adversaries starting from having strong weapons and armor; on the fourth ground, from the four directions, the four wind mandalas manifestly scatter various flowers on the great earth that is fully endowed with everything; on the fifth ground, a woman adorned with all ornaments wears a garland of champaka flowers on her head; on the sixth ground, seeing a pond with four steps, covered with golden sand, and a field without turbidity, completely filled with water possessing eight qualities, and adorned with utpala flowers, water lilies, and white lotuses, one enjoys it with great delight.

One sees the use of land. Seventh, on the left and right sides, one sees the precipices of the hells of sentient beings, and without speaking or being harmed, one returns. Eighth, on the two shoulders, one sees the king of beasts, the lion with a mane, wearing a diadem, causing all small animals to be afraid and abiding. Ninth, one sees the wheel-turning king, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people, facing him, and holding a white umbrella adorned with various jewels on his head. Tenth, one sees the body of the Tathagata, the color like gold, the light a fathom, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of Brahmas, facing him, and in the dream, one sees him teaching the Dharma. These omens should also be understood as omens corresponding to the great understanding of the ten perfections on the ten grounds. The omens of the sixth ground are: the pool is the Buddha's teaching; the four steps are the four schools that enter into it; the spreading of golden sand, the foundation, lineage, and land are without impurity, and both nature and suddenness are pure. As it is said: Cool, sweet, light, and soft, clear and without odor, drinking it does not harm the stomach, and it does not harm the throat. Being filled with the water of these eight qualities is the noble eightfold path. The three kinds of flowers represent three kinds of people: the utpala flower blooms even in the sun, and may bloom at other times, representing the Shravakas; the kumuda closes in the sun and blooms in the moonlight, representing the Pratyekabuddhas who appear when a Buddha like the sun has not appeared; the Bodhisattva like the white lotus is explained as the supreme Bodhisattva. If these are signs of dream omens, why are they not accompanied by the five obscurations from heat to sleep, etc.? Sleep is the affliction that makes the consciousness enter the object without autonomy, and the two kinds of sleep that make the body sluggish are counted as virtuous, because there is no former but there is the latter, so there is no fault, this is an answer that agrees with the meaning. Others answer that the appearance of sudden consciousness occurring like a dream omen is named by the name of dream, because there is no need to name it by dream. And, if these signs appear at an inappropriate time, mantras or
