However, whether or not one can quickly and thoroughly understand its true nature does not contradict the three levels of faculties. This is because it shows that clinging to what is known and being unable to abandon the clinging to truth is a lower distinction. The view of selflessness as explained in the Ornament for Clear Realization cannot be explained in the Mind-Only school like the Ornament and the Distinguishing Middle from Extremes. Even in the Ornament for Clear Realization, there are ways in which Indians interpret it as Madhyamaka and Mind-Only. Although it is necessary to explain these reasons in detail, I have not written them for the time being because I am afraid of too many words. Furthermore, "Because the Dharmadhatu is without difference, the lineages should not be different. By the distinctions of the dependent dharmas, the distinctions of that are completely stated." This statement shows that the Hearers and Solitary Realizers also realize the Dharmata. Among them, the so-called Dharmadhatu, in the Twenty Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra, says: "Among them, conceptualization and various conceptualizations are clinging to objects and their characteristics. Because these are not present, it should be known as non-attachment. That which has never existed is the Suchness of all dharmas." Therefore, this shows that the Dharmadhatu itself is the cause of the noble dharmas and is the basis for proving the naturally abiding lineage. This is explained as the emptiness of true existence, which is not like being grasped by attachment to clinging to objects and their characteristics as true. If the Dharmadhatu is the lineage, then all sentient beings will abide in the lineage, because the Dharmadhatu is universally present in all things." It raises such a debate, considering abiding in the lineage to refer to the lineage of the path stage. As a response to this, "If it is apprehended in a certain way, it will become the cause of the noble dharmas, therefore it is called the lineage." This shows that there is no excessive inference here, merely the existence of Dharmata does not mean abiding in the lineage of the path stage. Rather, when the Dharmata is apprehended and meditated upon by the path, when it becomes a special cause of the noble dharmas, it is established as a special lineage. Even so, since the Dharmadhatu has no difference, the lineages of the three vehicles should not be different. As a response to this, the distinctions of the lineages are explained through the distinctions of the dependent dharmas, that is, the path that is apprehended. This shows that the dependent here refers to apprehension, and the depended upon is the apprehender.
