Merely holding on is like walking in the sky. Complete maturation refers to the change in the characteristics of matter due to different conditions. For example, milk, after being stirred, etc., turns into gooseberries and long pepper, etc., and the taste becomes sweet. The second case is: if the state of the seed is abandoned and transformed into another state of sprout, then the seed and sprout are merely different states, so does the seed itself become the sprout? If the state of the self-entity of the previous seed is removed and transformed into the essence of the sprout state different from that state, then, when it is thought in this way, how can the self-nature of the seed be said to be the self-nature of the sprout? Because the entity of its state is its entity, and there is no other entity of it besides its essence. Therefore, the essence of these two, seed and sprout, becomes undifferentiated in all aspects. If it is thought that the shape and so on of the seed and sprout are different, but the matter is not different, this is not contradictory, then this is unreasonable, because if the shape and so on are not held, the matter of the seed and sprout cannot be held either. The third case is: there are other faults, if according to your view, the essence of the two, seed and sprout, does not have another essence in this world, then, just as the seed cannot be obtained in the state of sprout, the sprout will also become unobtainable. Or, the essence of the seed and sprout is the same in all aspects, just as in the state of sprout, this sprout can be obtained, the seed should also be able to be obtained by sensory consciousness. Because there is no such situation, so in order to avoid these two faults, it should not be admitted that the essence of the seed and sprout is not different. If these reasons are well understood, then for all things, in the case where their essences are different from each other, the misconception that all their natures are interdependent and that the nature of the previous state is the same as the nature of the later state will be eliminated. Second, therefore, the view of the Samkhya school who wants to realize suchness in this way, The Buddhist view.
