Therefore, the moments of matter are called constant. Because the parts and branches of the constant are of the constant that has parts, the constant is called its proximate cause. For example, a pot is the proximate cause of the pot's mouth and neck, etc. These previous and subsequent moments are mutually different from each other, and the other party has already acknowledged the otherness established by its own characteristics. In this way, from the power of the other that is established by its own nature, another will arise. If it is thought that this is not a fault because of intention, then all things will arise from all things other than themselves. If it is also thought that the moments of the past and future follow each other in succession, and the moments of constant matter have differences established by their own nature, that is, otherness, even so, for these moments of the past and future, the constant is not other, but is the only one, therefore, there is no fault of everything arising from everything, then, the continuity of past and future as one is the real answer to avoid the extreme of other-birth. If the past and future establish one continuity with each other as different in nature, even if there is no fault, but because this one continuity is not established, this one continuity needs to be established. Why? Because for the differences of the past and future established by their own nature, there is no opportunity for the constant that is not different, that is, one continuity, for example, relying on love and hatred, etc., belongs to the continuity, because it is the otherness of each person, so it does not belong to one continuity, just as the past and future are all different established by their own characteristics, it is not reasonable to belong to one continuity, that is, identity. In this way, in order to avoid throwing out the fault of the extreme of other-birth, it is said that the sesame sprout and the sesame sprout are one continuity, while the barley sprout and the sesame sprout are not one continuity, so not everything arises from everything. The other party has pointed out that the key to not being able to avoid the fault lies in acknowledging the otherness established by its own characteristics. Therefore, it is very clear that this is not just throwing at the other, but is assisting in refuting identity, etc., and said the other established by its own characteristics.
