Those who accept scriptural authority as valid also, when proving that things have no inherent existence, if they do not believe without the reasoning of reality, then what need is there to mention other sects who turn their minds away from the Buddha? This is the meaning. The second doubt clarification is: after things are proven to be without inherent existence by reasoning, to prove that meaning again, one should not say that scripture is the means of proof. As the Lord of Reasoning said: "If that is established, then it is well established. At that time, there is no need to rely on treatises." Thus it is said. Therefore, even if it is well proven by reasoning, some of the less intelligent who only take refuge in scripture may think that they are not convinced by mere dry speculation, so the profound scriptures also explain it in this way. The commentary explains it in this way. The ascetic Avalokiteshvara also explained it in this way. In the treatises of the wise, for proving one meaning, all the cases where both scripture and reasoning are explained as the means of proof should be understood in the same way. The third doubt clarification is: entering into the acceptance and rejection of the very hidden teachings of the Teacher is that for individuals with sharp faculties, they enter based on the sign of trusting that the scripture showing the very hidden, which is purified by the three examinations, is not deceiving their own object of demonstration. Even though those three aspects are established by the reasoning of reality, since what is to be proven is very hidden, it is not contradictory to be a sign of trust, because the types of signs are distinguished from the perspective of what is to be proven, not from the perspective of the means of proof. For example, although the signs of contradiction and perception are what is to be proven, they must be established as signs of negation. The followers of self-sectarian persuasion enter into the acceptance and rejection of the very hidden by using only scripture as the means of proof, because worldly seekers also enter from doubt. They enter as it is said, and that is not wrong either, if it is necessary to offer doubt with valid cognition for all entering and returning, then farming and trade would become unreasonable. Therefore, considering the way of entering similar to the previous one, since it was said by the teacher, there is no fault. The difficult commentary says that if it is not separate from the subsequent inference of the unpronounced scripture, even if it is separate from the subsequent inference of the power of things, will there be trust in the scripture? It is said to dispel such doubts.

In general, as stated in "the power of things" and so on, that is similar to the scriptures, and even with it, one should not necessarily do it. The inference following the scripture that says, is that the way of entering that is said immediately after, not the previous one. The fourth doubt is that profound emptiness is very hidden, and the proof is only scripture. This refers to the dark illusion fabricated by some who claim to be wise after the decline of the rational tradition of the early Tibetan scholars, rather than distinguishing the need and non-need of what is said that does not conform to the scriptures, and the meaning of selflessness that we acknowledge is only our own commitment, and there is no correct proof at all. Where are the views of the wise who think that this view should not be accepted? Therefore, just as this teacher believes, the signs of separation from one and many are the signs of the power of things, similar to the Madhyamika scholars, this is a supreme method for generating firm conviction not only in words but also in the core of the Buddha's teachings, and for following well in future lives, leaving good habits, so do not create obstacles. In this way, in general, the main parts of the meaning have both scripture and reason, especially the very subtle places of the profound, are well demonstrated by the wise ones such as Nagarjuna, whose reason is like the eye, and that meaning is also indicated by the profound scripture, such as the combination of the two in this treatise, is the path of the guides of the wise to advance together, do not reduce the power of wisdom and diligence, and firmly grasp the methods that are loved by those who explore the meaning from the depths of their hearts. The second part is divided into two parts: first, to list the formulas of separation from one and many and briefly explain them, and second, to elaborate on the way to prove the formulas by argumentation. The first part is: If it truly exists, it is free from the nature of one and many, and it is not those two, then in the ultimate truth it is without nature, like an image, these things said by the sects of me and others, if they truly exist, are not the nature of one and many. This is called: pervasive non-appearance. With "existence of nature" etc. to one
