The reason for establishing the boundary is the unstable support, which refers to the fact that the stable bodhicitta, the support for practice, does not arise, and not to the complete extinction of the lineage. Where are all the aspects of things, that is, all the aggregates? How does one understand from this, like images and so on? That itself is reality, and although it is without inherent existence, it is pleasing if not examined, that is, because it exists. The term "one" means that in that suchness, it cannot be found by the reasoning of practice, but only by not examining it. If one understands in this way, one can completely abandon the two obscurations, that is, after understanding and becoming familiar with it. Here, what causes the two obscurations to be exhausted is that it will not happen without meditating on that suchness, and to meditate on it, one must necessarily generate the wisdom that knows that all things are truly without inherent existence, and to obtain it, one must rely on this treatise that skillfully combines scripture and reasoning, and with treatises like this, one must well refute the object of clinging to reality and generate it. If one does not examine in this way, but merely gathers it in the mind, it will not happen at all. If one can gain a firm conviction about these, then it can be counted as having a good understanding of the necessity and explanation of this treatise, and one should know that one will generate supreme respect for such a treatise and the virtuous friend who teaches it. The commentators strive to explain, and although the previous teachers have already explained the lack of inherent existence, in order to eliminate the uncleared, evil stains of controversy, it is necessary to write, therefore this treatise is called "Ornament of the Middle Way." This is how it is explained. The meaning of ornament is to generate joy, and this treatise eliminates the uncleared and wrong views of the Madhyamaka system, just as gold ornaments and the like are cleaned after being stained with dirt, that is the meaning. Here, in general, the two obscurations, and in particular the obscuration of knowledge, and among them, the ultimate object of refutation by reasoning, how the co-emergent clinging to the self of phenomena grasps, one must measure and recognize from one's own experience, and one must know how all parts of the treatise run directly or indirectly as a branch to prevent it, which is very important. If one does not do so, no matter how much one listens, speaks, observes, and thinks, one will not touch one's own clinging to reality at all, and it will only become a verbal debate, so listening and thinking become meaningless.

It is for the sake of amusement. The second part has four points: establishing the two truths of the Madhyamaka school; showing that this doctrine is a unique characteristic of the Buddha alone; generating compassion for those who have gone astray from it; and showing that those who realize suchness should be offered with diligent practice. The first part has six points: showing that all things are without inherent existence in the ultimate sense; showing that conventional things are like illusions; refuting all bad disputes about these two; explaining that this body is without defects and possesses virtues; the order of entering into suchness; and praising the great chariot tradition of the two systems. The first part has three points: the order of the two proofs for establishing non-inherent existence; first, the proof of reason; and second, the proof of scripture. The first point is from "that" to "has been stated." There are four necessities here: if those who follow by faith do not trust the scriptures until they are established by reason, they will be no different from those who follow the teachings; and if they are first established by reason and then by scripture, just as establishing effort-produced sound as impermanent by the sign of effort-produced, the sign will become a valid sign; and if one cannot trust the scriptures that are contrary to the power of reality, the sign of trust will be lost; and if one accepts the sign of one-ness as the sign of the power of reality, then the meaning of selflessness, which is very profound, will not become very obscure. The first doubt is that the former scholars used the commentary as a faith-follower, although they were rational followers who divided the scriptures and reasons into two, they thought that it was not the former that divided whether it was difficult to believe or not, and whether to follow reason or not. Or, even if it is a follower of scripture, because the firm belief is from reason. The actual meaning of such an explanation is not in the commentary. The second point is the fault of not understanding as the commentary says. Therefore, the word "also" in the difficult commentary shows that for those whose minds are reversed, what else needs to be said? It is said that therefore, the follower by faith is not the faith-follower guided by the category of the follower of the teachings, but the follower of the scriptures after having faith in the Buddha. Therefore, the self-sect shows.
