Do not be overly attached to the degree of meditation, nor should the time be too short. Maintain the level of reciting seven or ten times the Mani mantra. After that, the rest is no different from before. Replace the blue deity in front with yellow, red, green, and white deities, focusing on each deity one at a time, for a cycle of five focuses. The reason for relying on these objects of focus is to stop the dualistic thoughts of subject and object, and to abide in the samadhi of non-conceptual mind. Therefore, do not generate conceptual thoughts about the object of focus, and whatever dualistic thoughts of subject and object arise, cut them off immediately and completely, and abide without distraction in the state of non-conceptual mind. Second, relying on the nature of the three families: the rest is the same as above, focusing on the white, red, and blue deities one cycle each in order, and then meditating in front. For these, even if the duration of each focus cycle is very short, it should not be shorter than five days. Third, meditating on samadhi by relying on one family: meditate on Vajrasattva or Vajradhara in front, whichever is fine, and the rest is the same as above. Thus, relying on the nature of the body, there are nine focuses. When meditating on samadhi by relying on these, if you are too distracted and the mind cannot abide, then visualize your crown guru in your heart, visualize the deity in front directly in front of your heart, and then hold the mind as before. If the practice is too forceful, and the body and mind are too tense, obstacles such as heart wind will arise, and the mind will not want to abide. Therefore, just make sure the body posture is not off, and relax. Relying on the object of focus of the mind, whatever conceptual thoughts arise, cut them off immediately and completely. In a relaxed state, abide without wavering or distraction in the state of non-conceptual mind. Abandon all actions of body, speech, and mind for a moment, and do not generate any conceptual thoughts or doubts about anything. If virtuous actions of body and speech are very important, do them at noon and immediately after finishing meals. If not, then at that time practice taking refuge, impermanence of death, and a portion of loving-kindness, compassion, and bodhicitta. For those that are not these...

Just practice meditation, and at night, in the early evening and at dawn, meditate with clear awareness. At noon, do not disturb others' sleep in any way. Second, to meditate on samadhi based on the nature of sound: Visualize yourself as a red deity, with the nature of the red Amitabha Guru, visualize it at the throat. The bindu of the ground becomes red. Visualize syllables as the representation of the deity in front, and a red AH (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Meaning: AH) as the representation of OM (Tibetan: ༀ, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Meaning: OM) in the Guru's heart, and everything else is the same as before. Likewise, in the sky in front, on the seat of the moon, focus on the three syllables OM (Tibetan: ༀ, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Meaning: OM), AH (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Meaning: AH), and HUM (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Meaning: HUM) for three rounds of concentration. And A A (Tibetan: ཨ་ཨཱ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: a ā, Literal Meaning: A A), I I (Tibetan: ཨི་ཨཱི།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: i ī, Literal Meaning: I I), U U (Tibetan: ཨུ་ཨཱུ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: u ū, Literal Meaning: U U), RI RI (Tibetan: རྀ་རཱྀ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ṛ rāṛ, Literal Meaning: RI RI), LI LI (Tibetan: ལྀ་ལཱྀ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ḷ ḷāḷ, Literal Meaning: LI LI), E AI (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཨཻ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: e ai, Literal Meaning: E AI), O AU (Tibetan: ཨོ་ཨཽ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: o au, Literal Meaning: O AU), AM AH (Tibetan: ཨཾ་ཨཿ, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ aḥ, Literal Meaning: AM AH) for eight rounds of concentration for these eight categories. And KA KHA GA GHA NGA (Tibetan: ཀ་ཁ་ག་གྷ་ང་།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ka kha ga gha ṅa, Literal Meaning: KA KHA GA GHA NGA), CA CHA JA JHA NYA (Tibetan: ཙ་ཚ་ཛ་ཛྷ་ཉ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ca cha ja jha ña, Literal Meaning: CA CHA JA JHA NYA), TA THA DA DHA NA (Tibetan: ཏ་ཐ་ད་དྷ་ན།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ta tha da dha na, Literal Meaning: TA THA DA DHA NA), TA THA DA DHA NA (Tibetan: ཊ་ཋ་ཌ་ཌྷ་ཎ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ṭa ṭha ḍa ḍha ṇa, Literal Meaning: TA THA DA DHA NA), YA RA LA VA (Tibetan: ཡ་ར་ལ་ཝ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ya ra la va, Literal Meaning: YA RA LA VA), SHA SHA SA HA KSHA (Tibetan: ཤ་ཥ་ས་ཧ་ཀྵ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: śa ṣa sa ha kṣa, Literal Meaning: SHA SHA SA HA KSHA), YA RA LA VA DA DA (Tibetan: ཡ་ར་ལ་ཝ་ཌ་ཌ།, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: ya ra la va ḍa ḍa, Literal Meaning: YA RA LA VA DA DA) for eight rounds of concentration for these eight categories, totaling nineteen rounds of concentration. If it is very concise, then one round of concentration for three syllables. Ali and Kali each have one round of concentration, totaling three rounds of concentration. Like this, in all the concentrations, visualize the letters in front changing sequentially, transferring and receiving, with the AH (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari:, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Meaning: AH) and letters in the Guru's heart remaining as before, transferring and receiving. Through practice, whatever experience arises, whether it is an experience of happiness, an experience of emptiness, an experience of clarity, a visual manifestation, an auditory manifestation, or any form of experience, do not negate or affirm it, do not generate unpleasant thoughts or joyful thoughts, but maintain the samadhi in its natural state. Similarly, in rough experiences, whether in reality, in a dream, or in a manifestation of experience, even if fierce beasts and untamed things appear, or non-humans maliciously perform any unpleasant actions, these are experiences. Likewise, countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appear and teach the Dharma, give prophecies, etc., these are experiences. Gods and goddesses, etc., offer offerings, etc., these are experiences, so without negating or affirming, maintain the samadhi. If there are signs and marks that are not experiences, then determine them by showing a hundred distinctions of the three types. If it is a deity, then request accomplishments. If it is an experience, then maintain the natural state. If it is a non-human, etc., then observe it and let it become a companion for accomplishment.
