It is said that they are included in this. As it is said in the "Lamp of Wisdom", "The causes examined by other schools, such as arising in front, existing, and not existing," the translation is the same, and the meaning is also the same. It is good to be like this. Its meaning is explained in the commentary. The names established by the Sthavira school, the cause of arising in front, is the arising in front of the senses, which is the object condition. The existing cause is the co-existing cause and the dominant condition. The non-existent cause is explained as the immediate condition. If such differences in names are examined in terms of their nature, they are included in these four. Isvara and others are not causes, so the fifth cause is not existent, and it should be determined as such. As it is said in the "Abhidharmakosha", "The four produce mind and mental factors, the three produce the two samapattis, the others are born from these two, Isvara etc. are not due to sequence etc." As it is said. Therefore, if it is prevented that things arise from these causes that are different from the result, it is contrary to the scriptures, so it is insisted that other-arising exists. Secondly, the other-arising that is spoken of in this way is the collection of the two, the cause and effect themselves being other, and the self arising. In this regard, from the perspective of negating each part, there are two reasonings to negate the other-arising of the collection. First, from the perspective of negating arising, how to negate other-arising will be explained. First, "non-existent" is put forward as the basis for discussion. Where, refers to the nature of the fruit's objects such as sprouts, that is, the essence. Where, refers to the collection of causes such as seeds, and each part, and both, and those included by etc., also refers to others. For example, just as a house is supported by a pillar. The word "where" is the word of the seventh case, meaning place, at that time it is like that, as it is said in the "Commentary on Entering the Bodhisattva's Way". When, before one's own arising. Generally speaking, fruit objects do not have two separate times of existence and arising, but considering the thoughts of others, it is necessary to separate and negate them. Therefore, if one examines whether the sprout that is about to arise exists before it arises, it is different from examining whether the sprout itself exists before itself. Moreover, for the arising of the fruit, it is obvious.

The time of tending towards birth is the time of birth, and the time of having already been born is the time of being born, so if it exists before birth, it must exist at the time of tending towards birth. If it exists in those places and times, it must be apprehended, because not being apprehended and being born again are meaningless, so it does not exist. Thus, if the self-nature of the fruit to be born does not exist before birth, then the thing arises here, that is, birth, so birth from another does not exist with its own nature. Then, if birth from another exists with its own nature, then the fruit must exist before its own birth, how is this established? If these reasons are not established, then other statements are just empty words, so it needs to be established, and although this has not appeared from the Clear Words here, it has been said in the Entering Treatise, in the context of preventing other births, so it needs to be supplemented. In this regard, once birth is admitted, then the cessation of the cause and the fruit tending towards birth must be simultaneous. This is not unreasonable for merely birth and the nominal acceptance of birth, but it is contradictory for the ultimate and birth by its own nature, because in the former, although the activities of arising and ceasing of cause and effect are simultaneous, the two do not have to be simultaneous, while in the latter, if the activities are simultaneous, the cause and effect must also be simultaneous. Like this, the activity of the fruit being born must depend on the agent of "this is born", such as sprouts, etc., so it is the dependent and the depended upon. If the dependent and the depended upon are established in the ultimate sense, then it is unreasonable for self-nature to change into something else, so at any time the activity needs the dependent, so sprouts, etc., must also have sprouts as the dependent of the activity of birth when tending towards birth, so cause and effect become simultaneous, and it is also harmed by the previous two reasons, so it is unreasonable to exist at that time. For the nominal birth, once it becomes the dependent and the depended upon, it does not have to be so at all times, so it is not the same. The Entering Treatise says: "This birth has no agent, nor is it of an intellectual nature." And, in this treatise it also says: "If there are unborn things, where are they? That is the thing to be born, if there is none, how can it be born?" Thus it is said.
