It is said that not doing so is taught from the eighth chapter. Secondly, because when examined in that way, the goer, the to-be-gone, and the going are not found, therefore, the act of going, the goer, and the to-be-gone are not inherently existent. The world mostly clings to things due to the power of the names of many actions, and among all actions, the act of going is the main one, so if it is denied that it exists by its own nature, then all the remaining agents and actions will also be understood in the same way, so it is said that the inherent nature of going and coming is denied. Going from this place to the other depends on being in that place to come, so the reason for denying its inherent nature is not stated separately. Secondly, in order to refute the idea that the profound meaning of emptiness of inherent nature of going and coming has been accomplished by everyday thoughts, and in order to show that all the scriptures that say there is no going and coming should be explained by this treatise, a few definitive statements and reasonings are mentioned. As it is said in the Extensive Play Sutra: "If there is a seed, just like a sprout, whatever is the seed is not the sprout itself, it is not different from it, nor is it the same, thus it is neither permanent nor discontinuous, it is the nature of Dharma." This prevents the seed itself from transferring and becoming a sprout, and the sprout from coming from somewhere other than the seed. If it were like the former, it would become permanent, but since it is not like that, it is not permanent that exists without being destroyed even at the time of the sprout. If it were like the latter, it would arise without relying on the cause of the seed, so the seed would be cut off, but since it is not like that, the seed is not cut off either. "From the seal, the bulge of the seal appears, but it is not seen that the seal has moved. In it, there is no its nature, nor is it different, thus all conditioned things are neither permanent nor discontinuous." Therefore, when the pattern of the bulge of the seal appears on the base where the seal is stamped, using the analogy that the seal moves there and that it does not come from other than the seal, all conditioned things do not come from anywhere when the fruit is produced, and when the cause ceases, they do not go anywhere, and it is said that they are free from permanence and annihilation.
