Therefore, even the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have attained this. Look at my (Buddha's) immeasurable body, wisdom, pure lands, and so on! You do not have my power, etc. Therefore, strive diligently! Think of those untamed sentient beings who are disturbed by various afflictions. And do not abandon this patience! After encouraging in this way, if it is said that one must learn the conduct of a Bodhisattva, what need is there to mention others! Although there are differences in the profound path of Highest Yoga Tantra. But in general, the common rough part of the path of generating Bodhicitta and learning the six Paramitas is similar for both Mantra and Sutra, which has been said before. If someone does not want to give alms, etc., thinking it is not necessary, but does not think of anything, thinking that this is complete with giving, etc. Because there is no attachment to the giver, the object of giving, and the recipient of giving, therefore it is complete with selfless giving. Similarly, the rest are also complete. The Sutras also say that each one contains six, so one thinks like this. If it is complete with just that, then the Samatha of the Tirthikas who are focused on one point, when they are in Samadhi, also because they are not attached in this way, therefore they are complete with all the Paramitas. In particular, as it is said in the Ten Bhumi Sutra, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas also have the wisdom of non-discrimination of Dharmata. When they are in Samadhi, they are complete with all the conduct of the Bodhisattvas, therefore they become Mahayana. If one thinks that it is enough just because the Sutras say that each one contains six, then when offering a Mandala, there is also "offering cow dung and water together" etc., saying that it has six, so it is reasonable to do only that. Therefore, conduct that is grasped by view, and wisdom that is grasped by method, for example, a mother who has lost her beloved son, tormented by grief, when she engages in talking to others, etc., no matter what thoughts arise, although she has not let go of the power of grief, all thoughts are not thoughts of grief. Similarly, if the wisdom of realizing emptiness is strong, then when giving alms, prostrating, and circumambulating, etc., those thoughts that are focused on these actions, although they are not realizing emptiness, it is not contradictory to engage with its power. Just like at the beginning of a practice session, the power of Bodhicitta is strong.

If left unattended, when abiding in the samadhi of emptiness, although the mind of enlightenment does not actually exist, it is not contradictory to calculate it, and the principle of not being separated from skillful means and wisdom is also the same. One should not misunderstand the stated results of the accumulation of merit, such as the body, enjoyment, and longevity of samsara. If separated from skillful means and wisdom, it is indeed so, but if it is embraced by them, it is very suitable to become the cause of liberation and omniscience. As stated in the "Ratnavali": "The form body, in brief, arises from the accumulation of merit, the king." As such, the scriptures are boundless. Furthermore, you sometimes say that all misdeeds and afflictions that lead to lower realms can be transformed into the cause of Buddhahood, and sometimes you say that meritorious deeds such as generosity and discipline, which become the cause of higher realms, are also the cause of samsara and will not become the cause of enlightenment. It seems that you are saying this, so please speak calmly. Also, the sutra says: "Attachment to the six perfections, such as generosity, is the work of Mara." And the "Three Aggregates Sutra" also says: "Due to falling into the object, giving alms, and holding the श्रेष्ठ (Sanskrit Devanagari: śreṣṭha, Sanskrit Romanization: shreshtha, Chinese literal meaning: superior) as supreme and maintaining discipline, I confess each of these separately." And the "Brahma's Inquiry Sutra" says: "All actions are conceptualizations, and complete non-conceptualization is enlightenment." One should not misunderstand these. The first meaning refers to impure generosity, etc., which are aroused by the inverted attachment to the two selves, and are said to be the work of Mara. It is not that generosity, etc., are shown to be the work of Mara. Otherwise, if all six perfections are said to be the work of Mara, then meditation and wisdom should also be considered the work of Mara. The meaning of the second scripture is also that it is said in that way for the impure that is aroused by inverted attachment, and it is not that one should not practice generosity, etc. If it were not so, one should say that because of falling into the object, alms are given, and it is not necessary to say falling into the object, but one should say that the general giving of alms is also confessed. Because the sutra does not say it that way. In the "Later Stages of Meditation," it says: The way of answering in this way is very important. If it is understood in a reversed way, all actions will be grasped as the characteristics of the self of the person or the dharma, and then the characteristics will be bound.
