Having accumulated merit, one sits under the Bodhi tree and attains perfect enlightenment. Teaching the sacred Dharma means that the Buddha or his Shravaka disciples teach the Dharma. The abiding of the taught Dharma means that from the time of becoming a Buddha and teaching the Dharma until not passing into Nirvana, the Dharma of practice does not decline by means of manifesting the ultimate sacred Dharma. Following the abiding Dharma means that one recognizes that the realization of the Dharma itself has the power to manifest the sacred Dharma to beings, and therefore follows the teaching as it was realized. Cherishing others means that donors and patrons give robes and so on. These five exist in the mindstream of others and are conditions for practicing the Dharma, so they are "other endowments." The four "other endowments" explained in the Yogacarabhumi seem incomplete now, but teaching the sacred Dharma and the abiding of the taught Dharma, and following the abiding Dharma, are compatible with the former and can make it complete. Second, contemplating the greatness of leisure and endowment means that in order to achieve ultimate happiness, if one does not practice pure Dharma, then merely striving to achieve happiness and eliminate suffering before death is something that even animals have. Even if one is born in a good rebirth, one is no different from animals. As it says in the Letter to a Friend: "Like a calf born by a deep pit, Attached to a few blades of grass, Without achieving anything, it falls into the abyss, So too is the desire for worldly happiness." Therefore, in general, practicing such Dharma, and especially practicing the Mahayana path, cannot be done with just any basis. One must obtain such a basis as previously described. As it says in the Letter to a Friend: "The basis for the Sugata's path, the boat that guides beings, Is what is obtained by a person with great strength of mind, It is not obtained by gods or nagas, nor by asuras, Nor by garudas, vidyadharas, kinnaras, or those who crawl on their bellies." And it also says in the Entering the Womb Sutra: "Even if one is born as a human, although one has endless suffering, it is still a supreme place, difficult to obtain even in hundreds of thousands of kalpas. When the gods die, they wish each other: 'May you be reborn in a good realm!' A good realm is the realm of humans." So it is said.

The gods also make aspirations for this support. Furthermore, some desire realm gods who have thick imprints of practicing the path in previous human lives may be suitable as a support for seeing the truth initially, but it is impossible to attain the noble path for the first time in the support of higher realms. Moreover, most desire realm gods are said to be in unfavorable states as previously mentioned, so the human body is the most excellent support for initially practicing the path. Also, a place with unpleasant sounds is not suitable as a support for upholding vows, so the bodies of the three continents are praised, and among them, the body of Jambudvipa (Earth) is praised. Therefore, why should I make this good support that I have obtained meaningless? If I make it meaningless, it is self-deception, and what could be greater foolishness than this? Having gone through many dangerous paths of unfavorable states such as the lower realms, and having been liberated only once with great difficulty, if I make it meaningless and go back to those places again, it is as if I have been deluded by a mantra, and wouldn't I become mindless? One should meditate repeatedly through such thoughts. The Noble Hero said: "Having obtained what, one can generate the seeds of cyclic existence, the seeds of the perfection of generosity, the supreme seeds of the glory of enlightenment, the people with a stream of qualities surpassing wish-fulfilling jewels, who would make it meaningless here?" And from the Bodhisattvacharyavatara: "Having obtained such leisure, if I do not cultivate virtue, there is no greater deception than this, there is no greater foolishness than this. If I understand this, but later become lazy due to delusion, then at the time of death, great sorrow will arise. When my body is burned for a long time in the unbearable hellfire, the unbearable fire of regret will surely make my mind suffer. Having found such a beneficial place that is very difficult to find, as if by chance, and while being endowed with knowledge, if I lead myself back to that hell, like being deluded by a mantra, I am simply mindless here. Why am I deluded, I don't even know, what is there in my heart?" Thus it is said. The Teacher also said to the attendant: "Do you remember obtaining the human body with leisure and fortune?" The attendant also entered into meditation in turns, what
