The way the Three Jewels arise in sequence is also well analyzed as the general framework of all the scriptures. Regarding not going astray, it is also well said that the fallacy of "no need for much learning" is also well spoken. The sign of not understanding these key points is that either one is proficient in the Sutra Pitaka or the Tantra Pitaka, and the two cases of never having studied the scriptures, now when practicing, the amount of practice will not have results. Furthermore, the bad habit of considering listening to the Dharma and observing as faults by the practitioner has become deeply rooted. Therefore, the content determined by the wisdom of hearing and thinking is only to become familiar with it, although it is not the wisdom arising from meditation, but what contradiction is there in being meditation? If there is a contradiction, then it is impossible for an ordinary person who has not obtained the approximation of the first dhyana to have meditation, because when reaching a high position in the desire realm, it is said that relying on it can generate the wisdom arising from meditation, otherwise, there is no wisdom arising from meditation, which is explained many times in the Abhidharma. Therefore, the so-called "meditation", as explained in the commentary on the Ornament for Clear Realization, the Clear Words: "Meditation means making the mind a part of it or making it its thing." It should be understood in this way. For example, cultivating faith, cultivating compassion, just like it is necessary to generate these in the mind. Therefore, the great translators sometimes translate it as "path of meditation", and sometimes as the Ornament for Clear Realization says: "On the paths of seeing and familiarization." It is translated as "familiarization", and the meaning of meditation and familiarization are the same. In addition, Maitreya Bodhisattva said: "The decisive part and the path of seeing, and the path of meditation itself, repeatedly thinking, measuring and determining, is the path of meditation." Because this is the path of meditation of the Mahayana noble ones, after examination, it is ridiculous to think that meditation and contemplation are contradictory. In this way, cultivating faith, the four immeasurables, the mind of enlightenment, impermanence and suffering, etc., like this, the content of repeatedly examining and cultivating is called "meditation" in countless cases. As the Bodhisattvacharyavatara and the Compendium of Trainings say: "In one's own mind"
