The ears, lips, and forehead, The nose damaged, the eyes crooked are faults. Surely to the mantra practitioner himself, Various obstacles will arise, leading to death. The way of looking up and moving breath, Like being crooked and moving from the seat. Surely moving from one's own place, It will destroy all things. The throat, lower abdomen, and so on, Faults are countless. Here, if the eyes and so on are crooked, If the mudras and symbols are changed, One will be thoroughly tormented by sorrow and suffering, Therefore, one should examine and judge the faults. The backrest, umbrella, and cushions, The fault of these three being small and narrow, Being spoken ill of by friends, Losing splendor, it will lead to death. These faults are great faults, The wise should examine them well. Thus it is said. In the Measurement Book asked by the Son of Indra: The qualities and faults of the body being excessive or deficient, Should be described, If it is long and wide and possesses, The places will be well established. The head is like the shape of an umbrella, The jewel grains will grow well, The forehead and eyebrows have a good shape, It will always bestow splendor. Like a lotus seedpod and a parrot, It will conquer all beings. The throat of the body is like a conch shell, It will always accomplish all siddhis. The upper body is like the shape of a lion, It will increase harvest and strength. The hand is like the hand of an elephant, It will accomplish all desires. Good harvest, fruits are abundant, It always brings good harvests. The thigh part is good, livestock increases, The shape of the buttocks is good, villages increase. The feet of the body are good, Discipline and wisdom greatly increase. These are the praises of the body. Inferiority will destroy local wealth and so on, Inferior in width and length, It will cause famine and destroy the place. The body being inferior will cause hunchback, The nose being inferior will cause anger, The left eye will deplete livestock, The upper eye will deplete wealth. Small eyes, the eyes are round, Likewise, the eyes are crooked, The eyes are inferior and the lower eyes, etc.

Sa! May it be completely abandoned for a long time. If the hips of the body are inferior, the grains will always deteriorate. If the thighs of the body are inferior, there will be a fall from the womb. The nose, eyes, and three fingers, being short are great faults. The neck, knees, and ankles, being long are great faults. The head, ears, and nose, being thin are great faults. Therefore, having understood the faults and merits, one should carefully create the body image. Again, from that itself, if the body does not give measure, or it will exhaust wealth. If the body is broken, the lineage will decline, and if it is cracked, the directions will be confused. The body or if it is a lingam, as well as the retinue of goddesses and mothers, having observed the ritual activities, one should quickly make them depart. Like flowers and stupas, offering incense, food, torma, and clothes, etc., similarly, having practiced the activities of fire offering, in the river of merit and peace, having recited the mantras of the gods, hair and ropes, munja and sarma dukula are also like that, having done according to the ritual, it is said to bind with ropes. Having bound on the top of the bull king, inviting the old gods, the body image of the nature of clothes, on the banks of the great river, and also in the places where rivers converge, there one should throw it away like that. Gold and silver and also, the nature of bronze and brass also, if one desires wealth for oneself, one should melt all of those in the fire. The body image made from the nature of wood, similarly, having completely covered it with clothes, having moistened it with oil and honey, one should light a lamp. The body image born from the nature of earth and stone, in whatever direction of the mountain it has become, having dug a pit as tall as a person, one should hide the body image and fill it up. The old body image should be sent away, if it is done by others, faults will arise. It should be done by the great self. For hundreds of millions of kalpas, it is worshipped by the worlds of the gods. Thus it is said.
