It is explained in the Four Seats, Samucchaya, and Oral Instructions. In the "Ear of Instructions," it says, "From the eyes, one goes to the human realm." According to this, the king is just a symbol, so it is spoken of for all human realms. If consciousness is transferred from the door of existence, one is born as a hungry ghost. Similarly, if consciousness is transferred from the path of urine, one is born as an animal, etc. If consciousness is transferred from the path of excrement, which is not for drinking, one is born in the eight hot hells, etc. Thus, the golden door of the crown of the head is the best. The five doors of the brow, eyes, ears, nose, and navel are intermediate. The three doors of excrement, urine, and mouth are the worst. The hot hell is the main one, so it is explained here and in the Four Seats. The Vajra Dakini, Samucchaya, and Oral Instructions speak of all hells. The reason why the Asuras are not mentioned is that other texts say that all Asuras are animals. Also, some texts say that some Asuras are included in the gods and some in the animals, which seems to be their view. This way is not contradictory to what Arya Asanga said, that for those born from the womb, the consciousness of the intermediate state first enters the center of sperm and blood, and that place later becomes the heart, and when the body is abandoned, consciousness is transferred from the heart. Because when consciousness is transferred from within, it is transferred from the heart, but when consciousness is transferred from the various doors of the body to the outside, it is transferred as stated here. Then, in the Abhidharmakosha commentary, it says, "At the time of death, in which part of the body does consciousness cease?" The answer is that simultaneous death is the cessation of all the senses of the body together with the mind. Simultaneous death here refers to the death of beings born by transformation in the desire realm. Gradual death refers to the death of the other three modes of birth. If death is gradual, rebirth in a bad realm is from the feet, rebirth as a human is from the navel, and rebirth as a god or Arhat is the cessation of consciousness in the heart. So, how is this inconsistent with what is said here? The Abhidharmakosha says, "Feet, navel, heart, mind die and transfer." The meaning of the mind's transference is that the commentary says that it means the cessation of the mind in those places. That is, the power of the cessation of all the senses of the body in the feet, etc.
