does not enter into it. Simultaneously with the reversal of the breath in the nostrils, the channel of the central channel below the navel opens, and from within it, a new downward-clearing wind arises, which ignites the fire of the navel, and that fire melts the bodhicitta of the crown. The shape of that wind is like the shape of a bow. Thus, although there are many explanations of channels, winds, and bindus, ultimately, through the power of samadhi, the wind reverses in the upper nostrils, and immediately the mouth of the central channel below the navel opens, and a new wind arises within it. That wind in the central channel ignites the fire of the navel in the central channel, or the blood of the navel increases and goes up to the crown. The bodhicitta of the crown in the central channel melts and descends to the places of the chakras, so that the realization of the four joys arises in sequence, as explained in the tantras. Although the increase of blood in other channels causes the bliss of the melting of bodhicitta in other channels, here it is mainly necessary for the wind in the central channel to ignite the fire, thereby melting the bodhicitta of the crown. Therefore, most tantras agree that as soon as the breath reverses in the nostrils, the wind goes into the central channel and ignites the fire. As a method for reversing the breath in the nostrils, the Kalachakra mainly meditates on vase breathing, the Guhyasamaja performs vajra recitation, and the Hevajra and others, as mentioned above, focus their minds on letters, bindus, and fire. The reversal of the breath in the nostrils is a sign that the breath has entered the central channel and ignited the fire of the navel, and when the breath enters the nostrils, it is a sign that the burning of the fire of the navel has been interrupted. Then, when the previous objects of focus are stable, one should meditate as follows: Without clinging to each session of the above objects of focus, continue to practice, and through the power of those objects of focus, generate the intention that the breath has stopped flowing in the upper nostrils. From the trijunction, through the power of the movement of the breath in the central channel, like a small butter lamp burning inside a glass ball, fire or a thin ray of light arises from the bindu, the color is reddish-yellow, the touch is extremely hot, and the size is optional, from two fingers to four fingers. One should generate the object of focus that has arisen with such a special fire, that is, the previous bindu with fire.

is where the mind is focused. When it is slightly stable, visualize the subtle flame of the navel going up to the crown of the head. Visualize that the flame melts the white bodhicitta at the crown of the head, and then descends in order to the center of each chakra within the central channel, merging into the original bindu in the center of the navel chakra, and again focus the mind on the original bindu and the flame. When it is slightly stable, visualize the upward-going flame becoming slightly thicker in turn. Also, in this case, just as a single lamp makes the treasury invisible, when the navel flame reaches the center of each chakra, visualize the light of the flame illuminating the inside of the pulse petals. If the mind is capable, repeatedly meditate on all seventy-two thousand pulses being illuminated by the light of the flame. By meditating in this way, relying on experience, one will be able to predict all kinds of hidden things. However, it is said that this is not clairvoyance. After that, when these visualizations are stable, one should meditate as follows: one's own navel flame goes up to the crown of the head. Then it comes down to the space between the eyebrows. Coming out from the path of emergence, that is, one's own right nostril, touching all the bodhisattvas and shravakas and pratyekabuddhas of the ten directions, visualize that they all become Buddhas. Then, from their nostrils and the left nostrils of the Buddhas who have already become Buddhas, the flame enters, reaching from the space between the eyebrows to the crown of the head. Then it goes down to the throat, heart, and navel, drawing out the white bindu from the navel, going up to the crown of the head, and then coming down to the space between the eyebrows. Coming out from the right nostril, entering from one's own path of entry, that is, the left nostril, going from the space between the eyebrows to the crown of the head. Then, descending to the navel, the places previously burned by the flame are restored, and repeatedly visualize merging into one's own pulse knot bindu. Again, focus the mind on the original bindu and the flame. In short, if the signs of successful visualization mentioned above appear, that is best. Even if they do not appear, when the previous visualization is slightly stable, then engage in the subsequent visualization. When merging all the visualizations, continue until the respective signs are complete, and each day...
