Wasn't it said that one should not rely on worldly deities who are feared because of suffering and sin, even more than women? How should these be accomplished here? Those scriptures forbid taking refuge from the heart in self-characterized worldly people. Here, although they appear as worldly people due to the beings to be tamed, their essence is beyond the world. As it is summarized in the Compendium: Ema, the means of all Buddhas is the nature of compassion. Wherever they tame by means, they also transform into gods. And, with whatever form beings are tamed, they show compassion and teach with the nature of love. Karma Dhenu said so. The Blessed One, after prostrating to Vajrapani, said this: Blessed One, we also, for the sake of the benefit, welfare, and happiness of all sentient beings, ask to speak our own essences. Please grant permission, Blessed One. Vajradhara said: Please bless. Great kings, please speak well, and I will also rejoice and bless you. Then, the Yaksha king, son of Vaishravana, with the permission and rejoicing of the Blessed One, spoke his own essence: Om Vaishravana (藏文:ༀ་བཻ་ཤྲཝ་ཎ།,梵文天城体:ओम् वैश्रवण,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vaiśravaṇa,汉语字面意思:嗡,多闻天), son of Vaishravana. Then, the Gandharva king Dhritarashtra also spoke his own essence: Om Dhritarashtra Dhritarashtra. Then, the Kumbhanda king Virudhaka also spoke his own essence: Om Virudhaka Then, the Naga king Virupaksha also spoke his own essence: Om Virupaksha Then, the mandala of these was described. The basic mandala is: a square with four doors. The arrangement of the inner lines is that there is one circle in the center and in each of the four directions. It is adorned with five mandalas. After determining the placement of the symbols, in the center of the mandala, draw the majestic Vajrapani. On his left side, draw the one wiping his nose, resting from fatigue, holding a good omen in his hand. Vaishravana holds a good omen in his hand, the right hand holds a club, the left hand holds

It is said that from Eulekha, a rain of jewels falls, saving beings from poverty, holding treasures, adorned with jewels, plump in body, seated on a lion throne, golden in color, and adorned with the splendor of precious ornaments. Some depict the yaksha Treasure Goodness and a good vase on the left side of Vaishravana (Tibetan: རྣམ་སྲས།), and some depict a vase and jewels, believing that a rain of jewels falls from them. Depict it as having (jewels). The wise should depict wish-fulfilling trees and wish-granting cows from within the good vase and so on, and a river of jewels flowing from the body. In front, depict Dhritarashtra diligently playing the lute, beautiful and green in color, adorned with all kinds of ornaments. On the right side, depict a heroic figure, tall in stature, holding a sword in his hand. To the west, depict Virupaksha, the best of those who hold the vajra lasso, surrounded by seven snake heads, with eyes that are red and very protruding. In all directions of the gate, the gatekeepers should be depicted in the same way. Then, after having drawn in this way, in order to generate the samaya and pacify the faults of deficiency and excess, with what is called the vajra mudra, the mantra practitioner himself enters the mandala and circumambulates, and then sits again in the direction of the gate. The wisdom being, the Bhagavan, is invited, and then the king is invited. After inviting, the wise one makes offerings, offers the offerings according to the ritual, and praises, in that accomplished mandala. Then the mantra practitioner, with this mantra and the mudra of Vajradhara, enters himself, and the disciple, of royal lineage, Jewish lineage, and Brahmins and so on, also in the same way, holding precious flowers, is seated. Om Vajra Samaya Hum. (Tibetan: ༀ་བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ वज्र समय हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra samaya hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Vajra, Vow, Hum) Then, these precious flowers should be thrown. Om Vajra Pratīccha Tvam Mahottatam. (Tibetan: ༀ་བཛྲ་པྲ་ཏཱི་ཙྪ་ཏྭཾ་མ་ཧོ་ཏ་ཏ་མ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ वज्र प्रतीच्छ त्वाम् महोत्ततम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra pratīccha tvām mahottatam, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Vajra, Receive, You, Great Victory) The king on whom the flowers fall, the practitioner will accomplish that one, and not another. Then, the four kings residing in the monastery, with four vases, perform the empowerment. The fifth vase is Vajrapani's, with the mudra of the five-pronged vajra, touching the disciple's crown and other four places, performs the empowerment. According to the order of these empowerments and so on, the empowerment should be performed in the mandala itself. Here also are the seven precious things.
