The endowed departed king, the king's son, the king's minister, the royal family, the Brahmin, the elder lineage, the commoner lineage, and also the lowly and small-encompassed broom holders, and the borderland people of evil lineage. What will be the ripening, i.e., the benefit, of these who have entered this mandala king? Asked. The Blessed One said: For the benefit of future sentient beings, it is very good, very good that you have asked me! Listen to the fruits and ripening of the sons of gods who have entered this mandala king, received empowerment, written, caused to inquire, rejoiced, prostrated, and made offerings! Having given "good," he urged them to listen attentively: Sons of gods, in short, I do not even have the confidence to speak of its virtues. Thus, he offered excellent praise. Whatever is my accumulation of merit, even if it were increased a hundred thousand times, it would still be uncountable, unreckonable, and unbearable as an example. Likewise, the accumulation of merit of all the Tathagatas is also unbearable. What is the fruit and ripening of the sentient beings who have entered that mandala? Blessed One, it is most wonderful! Vajradhara, it is most wonderful! Blessed One, we are happy to enter the mandala and so on. Then, those gods prostrated in that way and said this: Blessed One, the sentient beings of Jambudvipa, with little merit and short lives, and possessing the lineage of evil destinies, having asked for the sake of the living, and having asked for the sake of the dead, there are also sentient beings born in hells, pretas, and animals. Blessed One, how shall we accomplish this for them? Sons of gods, may those long-lived ones be placed in this very mandala! Having been born in the heavens, may the letters and mantras of the Dharma that stimulate their mind-streams also be repeated! By doing so, three benefits will arise: those sentient beings will become long-lived, those without merit will become endowed with merit, and they will also be liberated from the evil destinies. Sons of gods, the dead
