From the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) syllable at the heart of Lāva, light radiates. All the deities of empowerment are invited to appear as the yab-yum of Vairocana. They enter through all the pores of the disciple, who contemplates the essence of Vairocana and makes offerings such as water and flowers. The purification of empowerment is bestowed: "You have received the empowerment of the name of Vairocana. Purify the stain of delusion. Transform the skandha of form. Manifest the mirror-like wisdom. You are empowered to accomplish the siddhi of Vairocana and his family." Understand this. This is the fifth of the eleven vase empowerments, the empowerment of the name. When bestowing the five wisdom empowerments, the master can mainly act with the pride of the principal deity, or it is said that the pride can be transferred separately to Akshobhya and others. Either of these two methods is acceptable, but here we will proceed according to the first. Regarding the two methods of generating the disciple as the five families of Hevajra and generating them as the five families of the common lineage, the former ones acted according to the latter. Some, based on the Vajra Sun mentioned in the diadem section of the empowerment ritual, generate the five families as in the blessing of the skandhas, but this is not good. This is because there is no special tantra or Indian commentary that requires this for Hevajra, and the empowerment ritual also states that it is according to the common lineage, so it is good to follow the practice of the former masters. At the end of each of the five empowerments, the former masters merged the empowerment deity into the disciple, which is consistent with what was done by Dārikapa and the one wearing Lāva's clothes, and others. Regarding the method of merging, some believe that the deities are invited with the light of each of the syllables Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), Aṃ, etc., from the five places such as the heart, and then enter from each of the five places. However, Lāvapā and Bhāvabhadra merge from all the pores, and it is also good that Lāvapā invites and merges the deity to be merged with the light of the seed syllable at the master's heart. Thus, the five empowerments purify the five stains that are obstacles to achieving the five Buddhas, and from being separated from ignorance, they establish the special ability to accomplish the five wisdoms, so they are the five wisdom empowerments. As it is said in the scripture: "From obtaining the five empowerments, these five Buddhas can be purified, and from being separated from ignorance, the five wisdoms can be obtained." Furthermore,

These five empowerments are called Mantra Empowerment and Vase Empowerment because the goddesses such as Vidyā or Vidyāmata Cakṣumatī perform the water empowerment. Then, in the heart of the Heruka inside the Lama, the twenty-two-syllable mantra surrounding the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:Hūṃ) syllable residing on the sun, emanates from the heart through the mouth in the manner of one lamp passing to another. It enters the student's mouth. Contemplate that the rays of light arranged counterclockwise around the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:Hūṃ) syllable in the heart center purify all sins and obscurations. Recite: "This is the essence of all Buddhas, the supreme wisdom. It is the collection of all Buddhas. May you always hold it." After reciting this, have the student repeat the mantra three times. The student says, "O Blessed One, please grant it to me. O Blessed One, please bless me." And offers a garland of flowers to the Lama. The Lama also says, "O Blessed One, please grant it to this one. O Blessed One, please bless this one. May all the blessings of the body, speech, and mind of glorious Cakrasamvara enter." Thus, you have received the mantra empowerment. Reciting the mantra bestows all attainments. Although there are also those who perform the mantra empowerment before the five empowerments, it is mentioned here in both the Empowerment Ritual and the Vajramala Tantra. The sixth of the eleven vase empowerments is the mantra empowerment. Regarding the vow empowerment, among the two vows, giving the common vow is: Purify the student and the vajra. From emptiness, on the lotus and moon seat, from Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:Hūṃ) arises a vajra marked with Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:Hūṃ), completely transformed. The student and the vajra both become white Vajrasattva, one face, two arms, the right holding a vajra and the left holding a bell, embracing the consort Vajranairatmya, white, one face, two arms, holding a curved knife and a skull cup. Adorned with six and five mudras, place three syllables in the three places and bless them. Invoke the wisdom being. Seal with the empowerment Akshobhya. After offering, touch the three places with the vajra that came from the fire and hand it to the right hand, reciting: "This is all the Buddhas, the glorious Heruka holds it in his hand. May you always hold it. May the vow of glorious Heruka be firm."
