Hūṃ, outside and near the vajra fence. After reciting, visualize ten pits made of ten long, black Hūṃ syllables, each containing its respective obstacles. From "Oṃ ghā ghā" to "vajra kīlaya hūṃ phaṭ." "Oṃ vajra mudgara, vajra kīlaya, ā koṭāya hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ" recite ten times. Starting from the east in a counter-clockwise direction, and from the fire direction in a clockwise direction, stab the phurba into the crown of the heads of all obstacles, both above and below. From "The wrathful mothers strike with hammers in their hands" to "become one taste." From "Crow-faced mother, etc." to "Outside of being shattered into pieces, the vajra fire whirls counter-clockwise and blazes, pervading above and on all sides, so that all beings are liberated from all kinds of obstacles." In the center of the protective circle, from "self" to "in the center of the lotus, arising from the Aṃ" to "the rays of light dissolve into the Hūṃ at one's own heart." "By whose kindness is the place of great bliss" and "To all beings, I pay homage with reverence." The offering goddesses arising from the Hūṃ at one's own heart make offerings. "Śrī heruka arghaṃ pratīccha svāhā." Similarly, apply "pādyaṃ" to cool the feet, and then offer from "Oṃ vajra puṣpe āḥ hūṃ svāhā" to "śapta." "Oṃ vajra vīṇi hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ. Oṃ vajra vaṃśe hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ" to "Oṃ dharma dhātu vajri hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ," with mantra and mudra. After the offerings of the sixteen vidyādharīs, praise with eight verses, or "Oṃ vajra vajri hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ." Or: "Oṃ Homage to the Bhagavan, the Lord of Heroes, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ Light equal to the fire of the great kalpa, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ Possessing an unbearable crown of matted hair, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ With fangs bared, a terrifying face, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ Thousand arms blazing with light, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ Holding axe, lasso, spear, and khaṭvāṅga, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ Wearing a tiger skin garment, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ Great body, smoke-colored, I bow to the one who destroys obstacles, Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ." Praise after translating into Tibetan. "I take refuge in the Three Jewels" to "offer to the Buddhas." "Oṃ vajra heruka" and "āḥ hūṃ phaṭ." The assembly field dissolves into oneself, bestowing blessings.
