A person with qualities exists in three states: pure, impure, and a mixture of the two. The first is called "utterly pure," which means the ability has been well generated. The second is "pleasing," which means the ability has not yet been generated. The third is "clear," which is an intermediate state where the ability has been slightly generated and the meaning of the scriptures is understood. Alternatively, "pleasing" refers to being accustomed to mantras and yoga and being pleasing. A person with qualities who understands the meaning of the scriptures is "clear," like a lamp, capable of doing the work of benefiting sentient beings. Thus, the intention of Kongkanapa was explained by the hero Vajra. Sixth, in the condensed tantra of the "Glorious Heruka Manifestation," the complete examination of disciples, that is, the characteristics of superior and inferior disciples, and the chapter on vows, that is, the ritual of the eight vows, is the twenty-sixth chapter. In the extensive commentary on the condensed tantra of the Chakrasamvara, the "All-Illuminating Hidden Meaning," is the explanation of the twenty-sixth chapter. ༈. Fifth, the detailed explanation of practice with characteristics is divided into two: the general establishment of practice, and the practice with characteristics explained in three chapters. First, in general, there are two occasions for practice: the practice of the generation stage, which helps to accomplish common siddhis, and the practice of the completion stage, which helps to quickly accomplish supreme siddhis. The practice of the generation stage is done from the time when the deity yoga is very stable, and so on. The three occasions for practicing the completion stage have already been explained in detail elsewhere. Regarding this tantra, it is said in the "All Practices": "First, the samadhi yogi should strive to generate power. After generating power, practice asceticism according to one's wishes. In order to guide sentient beings, one should practice the conduct of a great hero." It is also said in the "Root of Vows" and the "Union Tantra" that practice should be done after obtaining warmth. The twenty-ninth chapter says: "As long as it is the activity of warmth, one should realize it through diligence." This is an explanation of what was said. Obtaining warmth is explained by Lavapa as the warmth of the four paths of application. Man Nye says: "Warmth is the power of yoga, from where

One becomes extremely delighted by enjoying yoga, and those who seek opportunities also cannot tolerate this. These will become capable of subduing and taking hold, and cold and wind, etc., cannot overwhelm. This is explained as obtaining special abilities. There are three types of conduct: conduct with elaboration, conduct without elaboration, and conduct with extreme non-elaboration. The characteristics of these three are not clear in other texts, but they are explained extensively from the condensed conduct. It is good to explain these three conducts based on the condensed conduct from Man Nges. Conduct with elaboration is when male and female yogis equal to the number of deities in the mandala gather, entering into the attire of their respective deities. At the end of practicing the sadhana, they enjoy desirable qualities with extensive elaboration of hand gestures and their responses, songs and their responses, dances and their responses. Conduct without elaboration is when the extensive elaborations of hand gestures, etc., are abandoned, and desirable qualities are enjoyed. In this, male and female yogis equal to the number of deities are extensive, doing it with five or four mudra consorts is intermediate, and doing it with one is condensed. These are the three explained. These two are doing conduct relying on karma mudra. Conduct with extreme non-elaboration is when all external elaborations are abandoned, and one meditates on the great mudra relying only on the wisdom mudra. This is also called the conduct of Bhusuku. If it is explained with the etymology of adding the letter "bhunjana" (Sanskrit Devanagari: भुञ्जन, Sanskrit Romanization: bhuñjana, literal Chinese meaning: eating) to the first letter, it means eating food. If it is explained by adding "sutana" (Sanskrit Devanagari: सुतन, Sanskrit Romanization: sutana, literal Chinese meaning: sleeping), it means sleeping. If it is explained by adding "kutisara" (Sanskrit Devanagari: कुटिसर, Sanskrit Romanization: kuṭisara, literal Chinese meaning: essence of a hut), it means the gait of walking for defecation and urination. Except for these three thoughts, one abandons busyness, and without thinking about the body, feelings, objects, and senses, one only maintains the mixture of sleep and luminosity. Some explain it by adding "bhukta" (Sanskrit Devanagari: भुक्त, Sanskrit Romanization: bhukta, literal Chinese meaning: eaten), which means eating. When doing conduct, wandering around and doing conduct like eating meat, and if one cannot abandon the house, doing conduct in one's own house, these two are said in the Secret Accomplishment Dharma. From the Vinaya Origin Sutra, it is also said to wander like a moving leaf, doing it in cemeteries and at one tree, etc., and doing it in one's own house, etc. These are the three.
