As it says in the "Fifty Verses on the Guru," one can cause rain by relying on a painted image of Vajra Namkha Ling, and by bathing the image and mixing the water from both sides, creating a nine-headed dragon image. It is said that both bathing and offering, and then discarding the water into the river, will cause rain. As stated in the Vajra Dakini, one can cause rain by relying on a drawn wheel of the Lord of Skulls, etc., making four methods in total. Here, the fourth method is explained: Without using an ordinary container, in the center of the three wheels of poison, salt, and mustard, place the center of an eight-petaled lotus, and write hūṃ vaṃ hūṃ (藏文,ཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体,hūṃ vaṃ hūṃ,梵文罗马拟音,Hūṃ, Vaṃ, Hūṃ,汉语字面意思). On the eight petals, write the heart essence seed syllables of the nagas, oppressed by two hūṃs On the ribs of the petals and the edge of the lotus, write: oṃ vajrakrodha mahābala hana hana paca paca vidhāṃsaya uccāṭaya sarvanāgānāṃ māraya hūṃ phaṭ (藏文,唵 班匝 卓达 玛哈 巴拉 哈纳 哈纳 巴匝 巴匝 贝达 纳萨亚 乌匝达亚 萨瓦 纳嘎 纳 玛拉亚 吽 啪特,梵文天城体,oṃ vajrakrodha mahābala hana hana paca paca vidhāṃsaya uccāṭaya sarvanāgānāṃ māraya hūṃ phaṭ,梵文罗马拟音,Om Vajrakrodha Mahabala Hana Hana Paca Paca Vidhamsaya Uccataya Sarvanaganam Maraya Hum Phat,汉语字面意思). Perform the summoning and other rituals, and offer properly. Close the container and place it where the nagas reside. Give incense of guggul, sarjarasa (white sandalwood), and burnt garlic. If you recite the mantra, it will cause rain. When the rain is too heavy, the method to stop it is to fumigate the painted image of the nagas with the incense of the three substances mentioned earlier, and include the words "varṣa ni varṣaya" in it, and recite the root mantra, or perform the ritual of scattering the clouds, which will stop it. For the three methods of scattering clouds, etc., Kongkana offers two clear explanations. Fortunate ones can do it even without reciting these three mantras a hundred thousand times, so it should be understood only according to the literal meaning. Go into the ocean and, in anger, recite the root mantra a hundred thousand times, and you can dry up the ocean. The method to stop a river from flowing in its usual direction is: take any of the seven types of magnets, make a khatvanga out of it, recite the root mantra seven times, and strike the river with your left hand, and it will change as described. What is the purpose of doing this? Because it makes one the master of sentient and non-sentient things, therefore it is empowerment. It is for the purpose of stopping things that should not be done. Some translations say that it can stop hail, and previous lamas have also done this, raising the threatening mudra in anger and reciting the root mantra. This root secret mantra, when recited

Having made the sound "Um," and dancing with the joy of the right-extended posture, causing the assembly of dakinis to be utterly delighted, causing the earth to shake and playing, climbing trees, going to whatever place one desires, such as dwellings and nearby places, and then returning to gather. Steal all the power of the mantras of others! Steal all the accomplishments! By reciting the root mantra with the repetition phrase, "Steal all the power of the mantras!" it steals all the power of the mantras, as well as the accomplishments of pacification and so forth, and the accomplishments of longevity elixirs and so forth, that is, it steals all the substances of accomplishment. In order to prevent those who harm the teachings from doing evil again, angrily adding "Ja che ge moi rakta akarsha ya jah" (藏文:ཛ་ཆེ་གེ་མོའི་རཀྟ་ཨཱ་ཀརྵ་ཡ་ཛཿ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:ja che ge moi rakta akarsha ya jah,汉语字面意思:Ja che, so-and-so's, blood, attract, ya, jah) to the end of the root mantra and reciting it, one draws the blood of others. If the one to be subdued bows respectfully, then reciting the mantra with the repetition phrase of returning the blood, one returns the drawn blood, that is, restores it to its original state. The ability to manifest in hundreds and thousands of forms is because one abides in the state of Mahamudra, and through the power of compassion and aspiration, one takes on the form of whatever is appropriate for the being to be tamed, in accordance with their thoughts. If it is not like that, but with inferior diligence, one accomplishes various forms with seeds through mantras and medicines. In the commentary of Lawapa, one of the four methods mentioned is: consecrating twenty-nine seeds of the castor oil plant and belladonna with the flowers of an evil lineage, pleasing them with the five nectars, and drying them in the sun and at night. Filling a black dog's skull with earth from a charnel ground, cultivating it on the eighth or fourteenth day of the dark moon in the place of the Mamos, taking the accomplished seed, and the mantra practitioner especially offering to Heruka and the Guru Protector, making offerings with tormas in the charnel ground and praising them, then visualizing the desired form and tying it around the neck, one will transform into that form. When untied, one will return to one's own form. Furthermore, using good medicine, the seed accomplished by the vows, accomplished according to the ritual, if one desires to manifest various forms, taking it out of the mouth, it will manifest as desired. If one does not desire to manifest it, then putting it back into one's own room, one can also make it not manifest, causing it to increase.
