The Blessed One himself spoke and explained it. The second view is also unreasonable, because in the context of the Sutra school, although it is said that "Thus I have heard" etc. were compiled by the compilers after the passing away of the Teacher, here, as stated in the explanatory tantras such as the Vajra Garland and the Prophecy of Intentions, the Teacher himself explained "Thus I have heard" etc. Therefore, it does not cover the cases compiled after the passing away. Moreover, the Teacher showing the attainment of Nirvana where the Teacher does not remain is also the system of Guhyasamaja etc., so for those, it should not be shown as "Thus" etc. The third view is also unreasonable, because in the Hevajra it is said, "The speaker is also me, and so is the Dharma." Therefore, there also, it should not be shown as "Thus" etc. The fourth view is also unreasonable, because when it is said that explaining without "Thus" etc. is like the Praise of Names, the same doubt will arise there as well, so the refutation itself becomes the answer. Establishing one's own system is also unreasonable, because it is impossible to prove that there were no "Thus" etc. in the scriptures earlier than Shakyamuni, and also because there are many tantras with "Thus" etc. spoken by countless Buddhas, and also because the Abhisamayalankara, the Vinaya-mula, and the Prajnaparamita Sutras, which are continuously practiced in the infinite realms of the ten directions, also have them. Therefore, for those, it should not be said that there are no "Thus" etc. Secondly, there are three parts: The first chapter briefly explains all the meanings of the tantra, the remaining forty-nine chapters explain those meanings in detail, and the fifty-first chapter summarizes and explains the meanings of the previous chapters. The first chapter has two parts: the actual text and the title of the chapter. The actual text has four parts: the promise to explain the secret, the exhortation to listen to the secret, the method of perfecting the secret conduct of the path, and the explanation of the place for practicing the secret. First, regarding the word "Then," there is a Sanskrit word "Atha," which Naropa explains in four ways: It is a conjunction when explaining the subsequent tantra after the completion of the root tantra, which is the literal meaning. After adding the letter "A," "A-karo mukham sarva dharmanam" (Sanskrit Devanagari: अकारोमुखंसर्वधर्माणां, Sanskrit Romanization: ākāro mukhaṃ sarva dharmāṇāṃ, The head of all dharmas is emptiness) refers to the collection of wisdom that realizes that the nature of all dharmas is empty, and with the power of its antidote, Ta refers to the accumulation of merit.

In general, this is the overall meaning. Ā is the lotus of wisdom, and Ṭa is the vajra of means, which are hidden. Among the hidden, the Dharma of desire is hidden. Ā is completely pure wisdom, and Ṭa is the great bliss of compassion without object, which is ultimate. Furthermore, Ā-Ṭa has four meanings: auspiciousness, the meaning of a suffix, the meaning of immediately after, and the meaning of being able to control. The first meaning is that whatever is related to this becomes auspicious. The second meaning is like, "Thereafter, at the very time when the Bhagavan passed into Nirvana," which is like saying that after extensively explaining the Tantra, when briefly explaining the Tantra, it is explained in this way. The third meaning is like, "Thereafter, immediately cutting off all doubts," and so on. Here, it refers to after extensively explaining the root Tantra, immediately after that, this was spoken, clarifying that there was no interruption. The fourth meaning is that the beginning and end of the Tantra are shown to be controlled by emptiness and compassion being inseparable. Here, all four explanations are combined. Because it has not been clearly explained to those who do not have this lineage, it is a great secret. The reason for not explaining it clearly is also because it should be kept secret, and there are seven reasons for that: the secret itself is the object, the secret is the vast retinue. The secret is the hidden truth, the secret is the secret lotus. The secret is the joy born from the seed, the secret is the collection of all, the secret is uninterrupted bliss. This is quoted from Lāwapa's commentary, and except for a small part, the later Samputa Tantra also says the same. The meanings of these are: first, the object of wisdom is Suchness itself. Second, it is the wheel of the deities. Third, in the later Samputa Tantra, it says, "The secret is the hidden sacred object," so it is the hidden supreme objects. Fourth, the root chakra is described as a lotus, and the lotus of the mudra. Fifth, it is the joy born from the Bodhicitta descending from the seed (ཧཾ,haṃ,ഹം,Ham) at the crown chakra. Sixth, it is the collection of the secrets of the vajra and lotus, etc. Seventh, there is no separation between the object, Suchness, and the subject, and they merge into one taste. Acharya Kongkanapa, having made Sangwa the special basis, combined the four verses of Shri Heruka as its special Dharma. These two explanations and the Lamas' explanation of this
