Among birds such as eagles, the swan is the most excellent; among creatures called "livestock," the turtle is king among all animals. It is said that the turtle king refers to a snake with a jewel. Some say that among the livestock born from water, the turtle is the king, the chief. These are said from the sense that the word livestock is used for the highest. The gods are Brahma, Vishnu, and Ishvara. Some explain that by performing inner and outer fire offerings with mantras and the meat of the five livestock, the face (of the gods) will move, that is, it will move according to one's own will. Others say that after reciting "the faces of the gods move," playing with various images such as goats, buffaloes, and domestic fowl, makes the faces of the gods, that is, the non-gods, move. In the other two translations and commentaries, there is no "among the gods." The types of meat are the same as previously mentioned. It is said that when enjoying the assembly in the mandala used to achieve common siddhis, the meat of those livestock is permissible. By eating, making fire offerings, and offering tormas to the deities with the meat of ministers such as crows, seagulls, magpies, and parrots, as well as cranes, tits, and katamba, all desired siddhis will be accomplished. Here, listing the jackal among the birds is a mistake due to translating from an incorrect version, which is also not in Bhava's commentary. The second is, after reciting the harmful beauty mantra, or the root mantra, or the heart mantra a hundred thousand times, the practitioner who has obtained the signs of accomplishment, after finding a beautiful corpse of an obstructer or another corpse that is without wounds and not decayed, on the eighth or fourteenth of the waning moon, on a mountain peak or in a cemetery, in the center of the constructed mandala, placing the head of the corpse facing east in a supine position, the practitioner sits facing east, with offerings of milk porridge from a black dog and a black cow, black beans and black meat, and black rice, in order to obtain siddhis, without doubt, that is, without fear, with the harmful beauty mantra or the heart mantra, until one hundred and eight times or eight hundred times, offering on the corpse and performing a fire offering. By doing so, the corpse of the preta will rise.

Then one would inquire of that practitioner, saying, "What should I do?" Regarding "corpse" and "rising corpse," there seems to be a common Sanskrit term. Some translate it as "corpse," and some translate it as "rising corpse." Then, having made offerings to it, one says: "Great hero, well done! Vajra heart, my vows are good! Accomplish me, may I be happy! Please grant me accomplishment!" Praying in this way, petitioning it for the desired things, one can obtain the accomplishment of entering underground, flying in the sky, obtaining the sword vidyadhara, or including the wheel vidyadhara and so on with the word "or." Destroying the malicious, benefiting beings, obtaining the Rilu vidyadhara, or applying eye medicine, seeing the treasures underground, or obtaining wooden shoes and other tools for fast walking, or obtaining the essence to live for eons. Including other accomplishments with words like "similarly," giving any one of these accomplishments, then it will return to its own place, and if not, it is because it is uncertain. The latter part of the explanation means that it is not uncertain, meaning that it will not leave without giving any one accomplishment. The upper messenger woman walks in the sky, the lower messenger woman walks on the ground and underground, if the yoginis of these three wheels are not accomplished, then they will take them to their own place, or indicate the method, which is undoubtedly in this Chakrasamvara tantra. If you want to know the accomplishment of rising corpses in detail, you should learn from the commentaries and explanations of Lawapa and Lhasbas. The third part is divided into two points: establishing the support and relying on the deity. The first point is the four words "cow lying place." In other places it says: "The heavy ashes themselves are pure, similarly the remaining skull is dry, made from a large conch shell, or made from a turtle." Its meaning is that the dakinis, Guden Trakpa, Lanka, and Warrior Vajra, etc., are not used to generate the stages and Mount Meru. The first person takes a dry piece of human skull and says to make a large conch shell. The second person takes the bones of cows and buffaloes, etc., to make it.
