Abandoning scriptural references that contradict specific practices. Firstly, the Teacher descended from Tushita to the human realm, taught the four classes of Dharma, such as tantras and treatises, and manifested as a form free from attachment. He enabled those inclined towards inferiority, the Shravaka Vehicle practitioners, to realize the Four Noble Truths, and also the practice of detachment. To those inclined towards the vast, the Paramita Vehicle practitioners, he taught the eight consciousness aggregates and so forth, enabling them to realize the selflessness of phenomena, and he taught the practices of the grounds and perfections. Furthermore, manifesting as the form of a Chakravartin, for those particularly inclined towards the profound, he taught the practice of desire, until they could realize the previously mentioned Two Truths, he taught the practice of the Dharma of desire. Not taking attachment to desirable objects as the path, but rather all paths that lead to liberation and omniscience are those with the practice of detachment. Therefore, in the Compendium of Practices, it says: "The practice of detachment taught to the Hinayana is merely symbolic." Although the three lower tantras do not explain Karma Mudra and union with the visualized consort, in general, there is only the case of focusing on the five desirable qualities of the visualized consort in front and taking attachment as the path. Therefore, those paths are also summarized as merely taking attachment to desirable objects as the path. For those trainees who fully practice the meaning of the unique Two Truths and delight in the supreme result of great bliss, the practice of detachment with the tenets of the Shravakas and Paramita Sutras is not taught. Because the trainees who are tamed by these, since they have not realized the complete stage of great bliss that takes desire as the path, but with the difficult practices such as the twelve ascetic qualities, although they seek enlightenment for a long time, they ultimately cannot attain ultimate enlightenment without relying on another path, because they are practitioners of this kind. Therefore, in the Vajra Dakini it says: "Whoever is a true Bhikshu, whoever is a person who delights in speculation, whoever has entered the state of old age, this is not taught to them." This means that the ordained who are tamed by the path of detachment cannot be inclined towards the path of attachment; the elderly whose semen has declined do not have the ability to unite bliss and emptiness; those who are absorbed in external speculation

Because acceptance is not suitable for this Dharma, it is said that it is not a vessel for the supreme path. Therefore, a special result comes from a special cause. Therefore, the great bliss of the fruition stage should be understood to be accomplished from the special bliss of enjoying desirable qualities in the causal stage. Otherwise, those difficult practices will not obtain the single-pointed mind of great bliss, because melting bliss comes from the growth of the body, and those practices will diminish the five senses and the body on which they depend. Thus, it is also said in the Vajra Dakini Tantra: Illusory things become excellent enjoyments, bliss is completely transforming, excellent results will be obtained, why not desire? Samsaric and nirvanic things do not exist, but only the nature of appearance, what special meditation is there? The desired fruit of bliss is the power of the supreme clear mind. If you seek the fruit and cultivate the cause, who can stop the goddess there? Therefore, with all effort, offer to all who go. With unbearable asceticism and vows, the body will become dry and suffer. Suffering will distract the mind, and distraction will turn accomplishment into something else. If the body and mind are stable, all happiness will be stable. And, in the Root Tantra it is also said: Unbearable asceticism and vows, relying on them will not accomplish, enjoying all desires, relying on them will quickly accomplish. So it is said. Asceticism is the practice of tiring the body, such as building temples, etc., vows are the twelve qualities of practicing under trees, etc., unbearable is jumping off cliffs and throwing oneself into fire, etc. Relying on those actions like suffering, enlightenment will not be achieved, because those will make the body dry, that is, degenerate and suffer, and that will cause the mind of enlightenment like the present to degenerate, because of distraction from the samadhi of great bliss, so supreme accomplishment will not be achieved in this life. What was said earlier in the Supreme First Tantra is the meaning of the Compendium of Conduct, which should be understood as a general statement or as the meaning of what was said earlier, not according to the literal meaning.
