Therefore, should we do it that way, explaining the lotus centers where bindus and letters are placed as root petals? Or, it is also permissible to consider the lotus petals themselves as the nature of the root. The lotus in the heart has no fixed color. There, it is mostly said to be an eight-petaled chakra, but there are also mentions of two petals, and mentions of three petals are rare. Even if you meditate like the petals of a flower lotus, there is no need to do it like raising a mirror. The golden seat places the Ka-ali on the outer lotus petals and the vowel letters in the middle, which is inconsistent with the root words. It must be placed as it appears in other Mar traditions according to the root words. Because the root words say that vowel letters are appearances, consonants are proliferations, and neuter genders are nearly obtained. In that case, it is better to make the color of the outer letters white, the middle red, and the inner blue or black. The root words say: Twelve letters with bindus. The meaning is that the eleven vowel letters, having abandoned the four neuter genders, have bindus. Therefore, the meaning of placing bindus at the beginning of the remaining eleven is not to place them in front of those bindus, nor to place those without bindus. The way to place them is: starting from the east, two by two in the four directions in order, or one each in the four corners starting from the southeast, or placing them neatly from the east, as the golden seat says. The same goes for Ka-ali. Regarding the way to place Ka-ali, the root words say: Letters from Ka to Ha, including the four excluding Ksha. The meaning of what is said is that, starting from the east, on five petals, place five letters each from the Ka, Tsa, Ta, Ta, and Pa groups, then on three petals, place four letters each from the Ya and Sha groups, and on the last petal, place the four letters Kla, Bla, Sla, and Sha, saying that these four are hidden, and also the four letters of the tongue root, which is not understanding the meaning. The meaning of that text is that each of the eight petals should be added with four letters from Ka to Ha, excluding Ksha, like this, the Ka, Tsa, Ta, Ta, and Pa groups have five groups of four, the Nga, Nya, Na, and Na groups have four, and the Ya and Sha groups have two groups of four, totaling eight. The mother letters belong to the bindus of all vowels. Place Ra, Ra, La, and La in the four directions of the inner lotus petals, and leave the corners empty. If you place these on the root petals, then each letter

Arrange the unwanted things in the root from the outside to the inside in order, so that they appear to be standing up. If you place them in the shape of lotus petals, they should be arranged in a string. In the center, place the indestructible (Tibetan: མི་ཤིགས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अक्षय, Sanskrit Romanization: akṣaya, Chinese literal meaning: indestructible) A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) together, as previously stated. The root verse says: In the center of the space realm, contemplate the clear mandala. This is in the context of the mantra wheel. However, some say that from emptiness, awareness arises only in the form of nada, completely transformed, and one should contemplate the moon mandala in the heart. This is not the meaning. The true meaning of what is said in the root tantra is in the "Lamp Illumination": The space realm is clear light, and the moon mandala residing in its center is spoken of as indestructible (Tibetan: མི་ཤིགས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अक्षय, Sanskrit Romanization: akṣaya, Chinese literal meaning: indestructible). This should also be applied here, because it shows the indestructible (Tibetan: མི་ཤིགས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अक्षय, Sanskrit Romanization: akṣaya, Chinese literal meaning: indestructible) as the basis of Vajra recitation. This way of contemplating the mantra wheel, except for the oral instructions of Naropa, does not appear in the scriptures and oral instructions of the noble ones. However, in some of the oral instructions transmitted from Jnana Kara to Naktsa, there are discrepancies. There are also some differences in the instructions of the Marpa tradition, but what was said earlier is correct. In the five-stage view of the Golden Seat, it is said: The fifth is perfectly endowed with five, and the fourth is definitely combined with three, and the sixteen parts reside. It is said that this shows the way to arrange the letters on the petals, but this is not the meaning. Those are the clear points of the vowels, A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah) Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) are the main ones, not the meaning of placing letters on the lotus petals and practicing. In other tantras, it is said that many letters are placed on the wheels and practiced. As in those places, it is for the purpose of collecting the winds, it is the same here. Therefore, for the purpose of collecting I (Tibetan: ང་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अहम्, Sanskrit Romanization: aham, Chinese literal meaning: I) in the heart, the letters are placed in order in its directions and corners, and by focusing and practicing, it is just an oral instruction for the purpose of gradually gathering the winds into the indestructible (Tibetan: མི་ཤིགས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अक्षय, Sanskrit Romanization: akṣaya, Chinese literal meaning: indestructible). That is, first focus on the lotus petals, and then gradually focus on the letters in the directions and corners from the outside. If the mind is focused, then it is said in this way because of the key to easily approaching the winds into the indestructible (Tibetan: མི་ཤིགས་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अक्षय, Sanskrit Romanization: akṣaya, Chinese literal meaning: indestructible), but it is not necessarily necessary for the mantra wheel to be extensive, it is the five-stage instruction of the Marpa tradition.
