It is meaningless to attain great bliss by virtue of absorption into the central channel (dhūtī, Devanagari: धूती, Romanized Sanskrit: dhūtī, literal meaning: central channel). Therefore, stopping the movement of karma winds and thereby accomplishing the stable abiding of the mind, the so-called stable abiding of the mind is the mind of co-emergent bliss. Saraha said: 'Here, the mind is blessed by the wind, it moves and flutters, becoming extremely unruly. If one realizes the nature of co-emergence, then by that, oneself becomes stable.' Thus it is said. The method of generating it is that the karma winds are absorbed into the central channel (dhūtī, Devanagari: धूती, Romanized Sanskrit: dhūtī, literal meaning: central channel) and depend on the burning of inner heat. Although the names of those minds, non-conceptualities, and bliss are the same, their meanings are completely different, as has been explained many times before. Even if one has a definitive view of emptiness, when practicing, because of the key of having to practice with melting bliss, when entering the completion stage, first, in order to generate great bliss, many methods of pressing acupoints on the body are taught. Do not think that for those who do not need to practice emptiness, an unprofound completion stage such as channels, winds, bindus, and wind yoga is taught. In this way, after practicing wind yoga, if one stops the karma winds, in general, it is to stop the ten winds that enter and exit through the doors of the senses relying on the two channels, and in particular, to stop the main life-sustaining wind and downward-clearing wind from flowing in the left and right channels. Because those do not enter the central channel (dhūtī, Devanagari: धूती, Romanized Sanskrit: dhūtī, literal meaning: central channel), but enter and exit relying on other channels, thereby drawing in the eighty types of self-nature discriminations, therefore they become obstacles to the manifestation of the four emptinesses. In order to fully generate great bliss, the melting of bodhicitta must be powerful, and for the melting of bodhicitta, the burning of inner heat must also be powerful, and for the special burning of inner heat, the downward-clearing wind must return to the central channel (dhūtī, Devanagari: धूती, Romanized Sanskrit: dhūtī, literal meaning: central channel) and be absorbed. For this, it is necessary to prevent the downward-clearing wind from entering and exiting through the lower nostrils, as mentioned before, it is necessary to distinguish the two ways of entering and exiting through the upper and lower nostrils. As mentioned before, if one understands the common stages of entering samsara of the two vehicles, one will understand that its root, self-grasping, must be reversed, and thus seek a definitive view of selflessness. If one understands the uncommon stages of entering samsara by the power of wind, one will see that the karma winds of conceptual movement must be stopped, and thus seek the method of stopping it—the key of pressing acupoints on the body, and make a definitive conclusion.

Furthermore, by cultivating the path of bliss and emptiness in union, which is achieved through the great bliss generated by skillful means and by ascertaining the meaning of selflessness, one will not stray from the key points of the instructions. If not, one will not be able to distinguish the subtle differences between great bliss and other forms of bliss, nor will one be able to differentiate between the subtle and coarse aspects of emptiness, and ultimately one will not attain the ultimate view. Even if one praises the union of bliss and emptiness, it will merely be a matter of name only. This is the essential point explained in both sets of tantras, and it is the uncommon means for accomplishing the Dharmakaya. Regarding the uncommon means for accomplishing the Rupakaya, there is no clearer explanation than this system, which has been explained before and will be explained again in the future. The fourth part has five sections: Gathering mantras, the symbols of mantras, the meaning of mantras, the ultimate meaning of mantras, and explaining the root mantra, the short A. The first point is: Regarding the term "gathering mantras," what is the basis from which they are gathered? The Third Contemplation states: "The city of Ali is the root from which secret mantras arise." As it is said, these are the sixteen vowels and thirty-four consonants. The Compendium of Conduct states that thirty-three consonants are mentioned after omitting the letter "ksh," which refers to the fact that "ka" and "sha" are not separate. The mantras gathered from these are the essence mantras, near-essence mantras, rosary mantras, and so on, as many as are mentioned in the tantras. The methods of gathering are also explained in various ways in the tantras. The suchness of all such mantras is the three syllables अ आः हूँ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ आः हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: a āḥ hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: A Aḥ Hūṃ). As the Compendium of Conduct states: "Among them, the mantras of snakes and so on are those that truly arise from Ali and Kali. Their suchness is the three syllables that arise from the indestructible. Because all mantras, whether they are of the nature of female, male, or neuter, are completely absorbed into the three syllables obtained through oral instruction. Therefore, these three syllables are the lords of all mantras." As it is said, from "because" to "therefore," the reason why the three syllables are the lords of all mantras is explained. The Root Tantra also states: "This is the collection of all mantra essences, known as the secret of body, speech, and mind." This means that the three syllables are the heart essence of all mantras, that is, the most important. The three, namely female, etc., gather
