Meditate in all places. The way it appears is: like a pillar, it appears in a stable manner as if it had already been accomplished. It is said to exist nominally, only as a person. Proving non-existence through reasoning is like the mind of ignorance grasping objects as autonomous, thus proving non-existence. Tsongkhapa's tradition, the Dharma King who clarifies it, the wise and accomplished, the one who expands the white light of good speech, through the power of dispelling the darkness of whose mind it arises, this written note of key instructions, may it dispel the darkness of sentient beings' hearts. These two are notes by the younger Dharma King. Third, in the context of the union of calm abiding and insight, there are five ways to meditate on the Madhyamaka view: First, the way to meditate on the suchness that is distinct and has other objects. The way to meditate after directly realizing suchness. The way to meditate after directly realizing suchness. The way to meditate on actual insight based on actual calm abiding. The way to meditate on subsequent insight based on subsequent calm abiding. The way for a beginner to bring out experience in the view. First, when this school meditates on suchness, while engaging in analytical meditation, do not fixate on the way of holding a definitive view. Second, when the meaning of analysis is determined, although the object and the subject are determined to be of one taste, do not make the appearance of the nature of reality an object. Third, when the meaning of analysis is determined, draw in the abiding as if fine and coarse cloths were placed together, and in the state of abiding, since one can analyze individually, when one abides in equipoise, the abiding and the wisdom that individually distinguishes the meaning of suchness, in the part where the two are united, make a distinction in each part. Fourth, when the meaning of analysis is determined, although drawing in the aspect of abiding is the power of accomplishing calm abiding, do not hold that as the main thing, but analyze again and again, and generate certainty in the meaning of analysis, and accomplish both the end of analysis and abiding simultaneously. Fifth, on the face of the certainty of the awareness that arises from experience, negate the certainty of total exclusion. This is a note by Khedrup Je. Fifth, the instruction manual for the generation stage is: With the love of that Vajradhara, the noble friend who enjoys, the supreme vehicle's protector, at the feet of the venerable lama, I prostrate with my head. I pray that you always look upon me with loving kindness. Here, the path of

The key instructions for the object of focus by an individual who practices the two stages properly will be explained. First, the preliminaries: The key to the Torma: Generate yourself as the wrathful Vajra, and in front of you, in a wide and large skull cup, bless the five meats and five nectars, and contemplate them as the uncontaminated nectar of wisdom. Invite the guardians of the directions along with their retinues to their respective directions. From your heart, emanate countless offering goddesses holding skull cups. From the nectar in front of you, they scoop it with the skull cups, and offer it to each of them, drawing it with tubes of light from their tongues, and contemplate them enjoying it. Offering to the deities of the mandala is similar in contemplation, but the difference is that you visualize the assembly of deities clearly in front of you. The key to the protection wheel: The wheel of severance, all its spokes as sharp as the edge of a razor, rotating quickly without touching the essential point of the sun even slightly. It is very good to contemplate a celestial palace in its center. It is also possible to incorporate the reasoning from the time of generating the Torma guests. Also, as soon as the protection wheel is completed, visualize the peg holes and pegs, etc., clearly. From the three letters of the three places, the three Vajras, white, red, and blue, arise, and contemplate body, speech, and mind as the nature of Vajra. At the time of the blessing of the three doors and the triple-layered heroes, although two Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllables arise in the heart, before and after, one Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) syllable is sufficient, except for visualizing them as distinct. The key to meditating on emptiness with bliss as the object: During the generation stage, the main thing is mental bliss, so with that bliss, first grasp emptiness, and then focus single-pointedly on it. If it is interrupted by dualistic appearances, then do the contemplation of the dissolution stage and focus as before. The key to abandoning pride in that: Just as one revolves in samsara by grasping the ordinary aggregates and the mind of dualistic grasping, holding name and meaning as one, and becoming attached to it, so too, by making emptiness of phenomena the basis for imputation, holding it as a phenomenon to be severed, holding name and meaning as one, one abandons the clinging to reality and it becomes the cause of the Dharmakaya. The key to how the apprehended aspects appear as deities: The cause of the apprehended is the emptiness of phenomena, the basis of the apprehended is the wisdom that realizes emptiness, and the way in which the aspects appear as deities is: the very nature of wisdom that is the indivisibility of bliss and emptiness.
