May all worlds attain the immortal fruit through this. From "form" onwards to "all are no other than illusion," it explains that the five aggregates, four elements, faculties, and objects are no other than illusion. Here, the old translation, "These five consciousnesses, distinguished as internal and external," is well translated. The five consciousnesses refer to the five sense consciousnesses, or like the five wisdoms. Previously, the two, wind and mind, appeared as an illusory body in the body of a yogi. Taking this as the reason, it is said that all beings are like illusions in this vehicle. If considering sentient beings, then their inherent body is merely wind and mind, which should be taken as the meaning of the illusory body. If considering both the environment and sentient beings together, then the transformation of merely wind and mind should be taken as the meaning of illusion. The two instances of "in the mirror" allow one to understand the complete perfection of the limbs and details of the illusory body through that analogy. Then, one analogy explains that the colors of that body are like a rainbow, and then, one analogy explains that the appearance of that body manifests according to what can be tamed, like the moon in water, these are the three main analogies. The detailed explanation of the first analogy is: The eight lines "In the stainless mirror" mean that the image of Vajradhara's body appears in the mirror, shown to the disciple, and from there, one ascertains that one is blessed. Regarding this, Chag says, "The well-painted Vajrasattva, liberated from existence and non-existence, possessing all supreme qualities, whose body is never tiring to behold, the clearly appearing image, is shown to that good disciple." This translation is good. The first line explains that that body is liberated from the two extremes of permanence and annihilation, and the third line explains that all marks of excellence are complete, and it should also be understood that there is no flesh, bones, etc. To ascertain this body with other analogies, it is not necessary to lead to the place where the water moon appears to show it, nor is it necessary to lead to the place where the rainbow appears to show it, just as the master uses those as analogies and it is sufficient to explain with words. Similarly, to show with the analogy of an image, in the Compendium of Practice it says, "Just as a painted image appears closely in a mirror."

Regarding the explanation of "Ra," it is merely a matter of comparing examples. If one does not contemplate by looking at the image of the deity appearing in the mirror, and placing it in a visible place, then there is no fault of losing this key instruction. For some individuals, if this is not done, the contemplation of the Vajradhara deity's form is not clear; it is for the sake of clarifying it that they contemplate in this way. However, according to the view of the scriptures, this is a secret instruction practiced by someone who has perfected the subtle yoga of the generation stage and is proficient in the three solitudes. Therefore, no matter how large or small the deity's form is contemplated, it will not be unclear. Moreover, the mere appearance of the deity's form with emptiness of inherent existence is something that has already been attained from the very first stage, so this is not what is being taught. This is also a fault of not having attained the uncommon state of the illusory body. The commentaries also explain it only for the sake of comparing examples, so it is similar to other examples. Then, it is explained by the characteristics of illusion: This definitely represents, the conventional truth is illusion, the enjoyment body is also it, it is the Gandharva being, the Vajra body is also it. Thus it is said, the illusory body represented by various examples such as illusion and image, is at the end of the three wisdoms of appearance, increase, and attainment, arising from mere wind-mind as the form of Vajradhara. To this, here it is referred to by names such as conventional truth, Sambhogakaya, intermediate state being, and Vajra body. This, if one knows the order of gathering appearances in the completion stage of mind isolation and luminosity, just like the order of death. Then, at the end of those two, the form arising from mere wind-mind, one will think that it exists like the intermediate state, and thus know the reason for calling it a Gandharva being. And, by knowing the reason that death appears as the Dharmakaya, one also knows the meaning of saying that this form is the Sambhogakaya. Moreover, because one knows the luminosity that gathers appearances like the order of death as the ultimate reality, one also knows that this form is the conventional truth. Thus, one also knows the two causes of combining the two truths inseparably. The Vajra body refers to the meaning that once attained, the type of form will not be interrupted and will exist as long as space exists. The impure illusion has complete conforming characteristics, and after attaining the pure illusory body, it has
