Now it is finished. To make it easier to understand, let me explain a little. In order to practice the illusory body, it is necessary to know how the basis of this practice is established. That is, as stated in the Five Stages: All beings are without autonomy, they do not arise independently. Their cause is luminosity, all luminosity is emptiness. With what mind are children bound by the bonds of samsara? With that same mind, yogis go to the realm of the Sugatas. This has no birth, nor does it have any death. The nature of mind abides thus, know that samsara itself is. Thus it is said. The first verse says that beings do not arise independently without relying on the previous luminosity of death, therefore it shows that all luminosity arises from emptiness. The second verse says that beings take birth by the power of the wind-mind of the luminosity of death, therefore it shows that the wind-mind that wanders in samsara, for the skillful yogi, appears as an illusory body and attains enlightenment. Therefore, in the Vajra Garland it is said: Birth and abiding and destruction, and the state in between, as long as the world measures, are all transformations of the wind of mind. Thus it is said that the birth, death, and abiding of beings and the intermediate state are all said to be transformations of wind-mind. In the Prophecy of Intentions it is also said: Those with and without perception, established as beings and abiding, they all arise from wind, and again cease from wind. The mind that has not realized, even if it becomes the abode of the ocean of samsara, yet it has been inverted, and the mind will also become dogs, jackals, elephants, and horses. And so on, it is said that wind and mind both wander as various beings. Showing that all beings are just bodies of wind-mind, this is to show that the primordial body, which is the basis for establishing the term "being," is just a body of wind-mind, therefore there is no primordial body that is different in essence from it, and it is not saying that there is no external world, nor is it saying that the coarse body of ripening is not the body of a being. Thus, there are two kinds of bodies of beings: the temporary and the primordial body. The first of these is just a body of wind-mind.

Another is the coarse body of form produced by other ripening, and so on. The second is the body composed only of wind and mind. Although the coarse body does not arise initially at the time of conception, etc., it is not that there is no body of sentient beings. Similarly, although the coarse body of form is abandoned at the time of death, the body of sentient beings does not disappear, so it is not the original body, just like the heat of water. The body of wind and mind does not disappear at all those times, so it is the original body, just like the moisture of water. Even now, when there is a coarse body of form, the original body is a body composed only of wind and mind, so the coarse body is like its dwelling. There are other necessities for saying this, but the main thing is to recognize the basis from which to practice the illusory deity, which is the original body. Its mind is not sense consciousness, but only the consciousness of mind, and the wind is not the other four root winds and five branch winds, but the life-sustaining wind. And the life-sustaining wind also has two kinds, coarse and subtle, and here it refers to the subtle one. Composed only of these, the body of sentient beings at the time of the base, having the shape of hands and feet, etc., is the body that appears separately in the bardo and dreams. If the basis of the practice of the illusory body is like this when it is in the base position, then how should the basis of practice be generated and practiced when it is in the path position? In the Five Orders, it says: "It is completely united with the wind, the three consciousnesses arise again, in the body of the yogi, it is said to be the illusory body. Therefore, all beings are said to be like illusions in this, abiding in the samadhi of illusion, all are seen to be the same as it." In the Transformation, it says: "Completely united with the wind, the three consciousnesses are again." It is correct to say this. Among them, the first verse is through the method of practicing the inner and outer life force, transforming the consciousness of mind of the practice base into the three appearances of emptiness, increase, and attainment of mind, and the wind that is its mount, the two arise in the body of the yogi, which is called the illusory body. And the meaning of "again" is that the yogi not only took the body of wind and mind when he first took birth.
