To gather together the desired objects of enjoyment along with their branches, and to meditate solely on that, is the meaning of engaging in the practice of enhancing the completion stage. Just as striking the vital points of the inner chakras gives rise to various kinds of special bliss, so too, the nature, number, differences in movement, and differences in the magnitude of power of the mudras give rise to various kinds of special bliss in the yogi. At that time, one should also understand the many ways in which the realization of emptiness meditation becomes more profound. If one does not engage in this practice, one will not attain common siddhis. This contradicts the statement in the lower three tantras that limitless common siddhis are attained through the path taught therein. Even if it is for the sake of common siddhis, one might wonder how engaging in this practice helps to attain them. Although meditating on emptiness is not necessary to attain many minor common siddhis, it is said that meditating on emptiness is necessary to attain many special siddhis that arise in the lower tantras. Some cannot be attained without it, while others are easier to attain with its realization. As for attaining common siddhis through the generation stage of highest yoga, there are many that cannot be attained by the former, as well as the ultimate of common siddhis, and many others, which, through the stages of the three empowerments, can be attained easily in a very short time, such as within seven days, half a month, or one or one and a half months. The practice is engaged in as a means to easily attain them in a very short time. Because when the generation stage is perfected, tangible signs are found, even by meditating on the syllable (ཕཊ་,phaṭ,स्फुट,bursting forth) at the door of the secret place, one can prevent the loss of bodhicitta. By generating bliss from union with the mudra and meditating on emptiness with it, if a special power arises, it is easier to attain siddhis. Meditating on bliss and emptiness to that extent is also present in the path of the generation stage. If some people think that when the subtle generation stage is perfected, there is also the possibility of the winds entering the central channel, and that they know the key point of the union with the external mudra becoming life-sustaining activity, and that relying on that, they can also generate the four joys of the winds dissolving into the central channel, then even if these two arise during the generation stage, they should be included in the path.

Therefore, one needs to practice on the path of the Completion Stage. Before practicing the path, as it appears during the empowerment, just like the Co-emergent Completion Stage mentioned in the oral instructions. During the Generation Stage, engaging in conduct for the sake of common accomplishments is not for superior individuals like jewels, but for some individuals with lesser faculties like white lotuses, who are enticed by common accomplishments. From which tantras are these conducts spoken of, and what are their individual characteristics? In the Compendium of Practices, it is said that the extensive arali (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, literal Chinese meaning) of all the Tathagatas, as exhaled by the Tathagatas and Vajradhara, is with elaboration; enjoying some things out of necessity from what is always pervasive is without elaboration; and abandoning all busyness and abiding solely on the food of meditation, becoming accustomed through the wisdom mudra and absorption, is the conduct of extreme non-elaboration. Just as there is no difference between wood, palm leaves, and cotton burning to ashes, all three conducts accomplish the state of Vajradhara. There are distinctions of small, medium, and large, and it is taught to learn the three conducts in accordance with one's age. Arali is translated as play or enjoyment. These are the mudras and their responses, etc., mentioned in the Compendium of Practices. The conduct of non-elaboration is that, in general, those things must always be done, but sometimes those things are set aside and done out of necessity. However, for this, there are special residences, including cushions and assistants for performing rituals, and many elaborations of those things, decorations, masks, and food, etc., are also placed in extreme non-elaboration, so for that, the elaboration of actions is very small. The three examples show that each of the three conducts accomplishes the result, so it is not necessary to practice all three. There are many ways to explain small, medium, and large, such as explaining them as the three types of resources: large, medium, and small, and the three types of wisdom: small, medium, and large. Some explain them as the three types of desire: large, medium, and small, but in reality, it is based on the three types of resources: large, medium, and small, as well as the three types of age: small, medium, and large, and the three types of thoughts that like elaboration: large, medium, and small. Among them, the first conduct is
