Even when achieving something, if things haven't become deities, but if a spontaneous pride of the deity arises, it can still accomplish what is needed. The second (part) has three: How much realization should be cultivated; the way to manifest clarity; and the method for establishing stability. First (part): So, is learning the generation stage like learning the completion stage, where by meditating on each visualization sequence, the former becomes stable and then transferred to the latter? Or, is it that one meditates on the entire beginning and end of a single practice in one session? If one thinks like this, then, regarding this, it is necessary to understand that by dividing the practitioner himself who arises on the path into four stages, the differences in how much and how they meditate are explained. Therefore, Marmeze (Atiśa Dīpaṃkaraśrījñāna) said: "Having risen in the morning as before, one is a doer of the first good repetition. Because wisdom has slightly descended, one possesses the vows and asceticism of mantra. Bless the eyes and body, etc. In the intervals between sessions, one recites diligently. In all aspects, completely perfect, one who expands and contracts. One who has slightly obtained power of wisdom. Day and night, truly rely on yoga. Truly obtain power of wisdom, meditate. The best of the three realms, the dust of the elements. One with a body that is the nature of an image. Performs the actions for the benefit of beings." One side of what is said, the first practitioner, the one in whom wisdom has slightly descended, and the one who has slightly obtained power over wisdom, is the stage of the generation stage, while the one who has completely obtained power over wisdom is the stage of having gone to a high position in the completion stage. Among them, in the first stage, one must completely meditate on all the rituals of the generation stage that arise from one's own practice, as Shantipa (Śāntideva) said: "Is a doer of the first good repetition." Meaning, the first practitioner should truly repeat with all the rituals. And, Dawa Gyaltsen (Candrakīrti) also divided it into four and said that in the first stage, all four yogas must be practiced. And, the "Twelve Stalks" also consistently says: "It must be done by the first practitioner in that way, completely without omission." So, up to what point is one considered a first practitioner? In Drak Nag (Kṛṣṇa)'s seventeenth chapter commentary, "Jewel Lamp," it says: "Also, the yogi who is a first practitioner, as long as the limbs of the deity appear roughly, just like direct perception, until then, in the intervals between sessions,"

Meditating on all four yogas in the womb. And in the commentary on the Four Hundred and Fifty Verses, it says: From being able to manifest the mandala of the gross body in an instant, to establishing that wisdom has slightly descended, therefore, from the beginning of practice, until the point where one cannot manifest the entire gross mandala clearly in an instant, all are considered initial practitioners. In the Five Stages and the Compendium of Practices, establishing everyone up to the completion of the generation stage as an initial practitioner refers to the initial practitioner in relation to the completion stage, while what is said here is: Only in the first stage is it the initial practitioner divided by stages, so there is no contradiction. As for the slight descent of wisdom, the commentary on the Four Hundred and Fifty Verses says: Whoever can manifest the mandala of the gross body in an instant, but cannot manifest the subtle Earth Essence and the Body Vajra, etc., and also possesses the discipline and asceticism of mantra, those who have obtained that power are called slightly empowered in wisdom. Thus it is said, which has the same meaning as "wisdom slightly descended" in the root text. Here, the gross refers to the deity arranged in the mandala, and the subtle refers to the deity arranged in their eyes, etc. The way the gross manifests in an instant is: When the initial practitioner visualizes them, if they visualize them in order, they will appear, but if not, they will not be able to appear clearly. It is not like that, but rather, whenever the deity is visualized, all the limbs and parts can appear clearly at the same time. However, it is not enough to have it happen only once or twice occasionally, so it must be stable. As it says in the Garland of Ears Twelve: Whoever has obtained the signs as described and whose mind is stable in the initial yoga, they are slightly empowered in wisdom, so they emanate the mandala in an instant and practice. Thus it is said. The practice of clear realization is: Deity It is not that the subtle and gross are practiced more or less, but rather that the gross is easier to manifest and the subtle is more difficult to manifest. For example, the difference in difficulty between the clear eye of the main deity Manjushri Vajra and the complete clarity of the Earth Essence within it. Here, although the palace is not clearly visible, it must be able to manifest in an instant. If one establishes that wisdom has slightly descended because one cannot manifest the Earth Essence, etc., then the commentary on the Black Enemy says: Whoever
