The two small parts on the left and right where two lines intersect, along with the ground of the root line, should be removed. Thus, in the four hundred and half verses, it says, "With the wrathful gaze of the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马转写:hrīḥ,meaning: seed syllable), then the door should also be opened." Nāgabodhi said, "While remembering the illusory body, then the door is fully opened." Therefore, one should contemplate one's own deity's form as if it were an illusion. After completing the line, offer and praise, invite the wisdom being of the thread to descend, and then place the thread in a secluded place, which is the same here as well. The fourth part has two aspects: explaining the meaning of the outer line of the mandala, and explaining the meaning of drawing the inner lines. The first has two aspects: explaining the meaning of the circular line and the horse-shoe line, and explaining the meaning of the line from the arrow-notch to the wall. The first has two aspects: explaining the meaning of the circular and horn lines, and explaining the meaning of the horse-shoe line. The first is: Because the line establishes the characteristics of the palace, one must rely on the line to know how to contemplate the palace, so that should be explained. The explanation of the charnel ground should be understood from the Vinayasamuccaya and the twelfth chapter of the Snye-ma. The fire mountains of all directions are of equal size, meaning that the degree of radiating light is equal, not that it does not go down to one-fourth or less. Therefore, it is said not to draw colored lines at its base, meaning that it radiates without interruption. Within the flames radiating in all directions and corners, the vajra fence is thick and solid, the essence of a great environment. Moreover, regarding the meaning of contemplation, this teacher believes that it exists between the circle of wind below and the Akaniṣṭha above, so the cloth where the vajra dwells should also be understood in that way. The essence of the vajra can be five-pointed, three-pointed, or various vajras, and it should be drawn accordingly. The circular line between the vajra and the lotus is, according to our own system, a symbol of the Dharmadhātu. If there is contemplation of the Dharmadhātu, then it is like that. But in some special cases of mandalas such as Cakrasaṃvara, where there is no contemplation of the Dharmadhātu, it is because it is included within the Dharmadhātu, so the view that the line represents the Dharmadhātu, and the view that the line is the essence of a great environment, these two other systems can be taken as a reference. Therefore,

Although it is not clearly stated what the circular line between the fire pit and the vajra represents, it seems that it should be attributed to the vajra enclosure as the nature of the environment. Within the protective wheel of the vajra enclosure, what touches the tip of the line of Dharma origination is the lotus petal, and the place where the petal exists is the place of Dharma origination. The first circular line inside is the pattern of the lotus stamen, so the space between the stamens is the round center of the lotus. In the mandala, starting from the line of the stamen, considering it as the environment, Nagarjuna says, "Having the tip of the horse-descending vajra, that is the outer environment, the vajra garland is full of good light." Because the vajra garland itself is said to be the environment, the vajra enclosure is the environment. The stamen, petals, and Dharma origination do not belong to the vajra enclosure, so it is denied that they are not the environment. Because it is said that outside the horn tips of various vajras is the environment, it would be good to consider those also as names for the environment. Furthermore, that scripture says that outside the horn tips is the environment of the vajra enclosure, denying the view that there are no lotus and Dharma origination, and ultimately establishing that various vajras exist on the lotus. To say that there is no lotus and only various vajras is too absurd. This is said because the lotus is not clearly stated, but various vajras are mentioned, and the views of the standard scriptures are also explained as the way of having the lotus. In that case, from the edge of the lotus center to the edge, the tips of the horns of various vajras should cover the space between one tip and another. Among them, the shape of the center of various vajras is square, and the width from the edge of the center to the edge is twelve large units, and both methods of measuring the thread rope are the same. Among them, the measurement of the length of the inserted horns is, according to the method of ninety-six thread ropes, there are four large units, and according to the method of eighty-four thread ropes, there are two large units. The statement that the horn is fourteen small units is denied in the mandala, and it is determined that it is the former two. In that case, according to this teacher's method, if it is considered that the horn has two large units, then the threshold of the horse-descent is one, which is just twice the measurement of the thread rope of the basic mandala's mandala. If it is considered that the horn has four large units, then the threshold of the horse-descent is three, which is twice the basic mandala and its surroundings.
