It is said that it was taught from the unedited text, but the currently translated tantra is discontinued. According to the former method, one should contemplate the mind as a fully complete circle of the moon, and on top of it, contemplate the syllable aṃ (藏文:ཨཾ་,梵文天城体:अं,梵文罗马拟音:aṃ,汉语字面意思:seed syllable Om). From that, one should perform the emanation and absorption of light, and from the complete transformation, oneself becomes the great Vairocana, with one face and two arms, making the mudra of meditative equipoise. The body is golden in color, covered with a garland of blazing light. Seated on a white lotus and moon cushion. Adorned with a crown and topknot, and adorned with silk upper and lower garments. The blessing with mantras and mudras can be done in either an elaborate or concise manner, but it is not written in detail here. The second basis is that in front, one should also contemplate a Tathagata similar to oneself. Then, in the heart of that one, on the moon, one should place the garland of mantras to be recited, which are the four limbs of recitation. Thus, in the Abhisamayalankara, it says: Letters are joined with letters, Likewise, from basis it becomes basis, With great focus in the mind, One should recite one hundred million times. Letters are the mind of enlightenment, The second is called sound. The basis is to establish one's own deity, To do so in the place of one's own body. The second basis is the complete Buddha, One should know these two limbs as supreme. The pure circle of the moon, The mantra practitioner should contemplate residing on it. All the letters in order, Should be well placed in its center. Again, suppress with words of absorption, Purify life and effort. What is called life is explained as wind, Effort is called mindfulness, After these two are combined, One should first practice well. Thus it is said. Regarding the two letters, in the two commentaries of the Abhisamayalankara, Although there is no clear explanation, according to the commentary on the later meditation mentioned earlier, it is the moon and mantra garland of the four limbs. If it is explained as the moon and mantra at the time of generating the deity, it is meaningless. After combining life and effort, one should first find a place to dwell when the deity's body appears clearly, Then the methods of reciting with the letters as the object are the same as those mentioned earlier in the Kriya Tantra. At the end of that scripture, it says: Then the mantra practitioner for one month, Should recite with great focus. The secret mantra previously practiced, Is to enter from one basis to another.

It is called "application." It is said that it should be done for a month, and entering from one basis to another is: focusing on the mantra placed on the moon in the heart in front, so that the practitioner's own heart and (the deity's heart) alternately alternate. It is said that it should be recited in the mind, which is just an example, and in fact it is said that there are two ways of reciting softly and reciting in the mind, as it is said in the Abhisamayalankara: Reciting in the mind or, again, the two kinds of soft recitation, the yogi should diligently practice. For these two methods, also like before, first perform the soft recitation, and when half of the mind recitation is done, stop the life breath, and proceed as before. The second is: from emptiness, from A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, literal Chinese meaning: A), A (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, literal Chinese meaning: A), Ang (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, literal Chinese meaning: A), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཿ, Devanagari: अः, Romanized Sanskrit: aḥ, literal Chinese meaning: A), any of the four, arise as before. This is the first basis, and in the "Explanation of the Abridged Meaning" it is said to arise as Shakyamuni Buddha. In his heart, visualize a very pure and firm moon mandala, like a malong. It is said that one should visualize until one's own body appears as the body of the deity. The second basis is: in the moon, visualize the previously mentioned Vairochana Buddha as if residing in a cave. In his heart, visualize that there is a mantra on the moon, and then recite it, and it is said that this should also be recited one million times. When reciting twice and reciting in the mind, stopping the life breath seems to be necessary as well. Previously it was called "application." At the end of "application" it is said: From then on, offer a little flowers, incense, etc., in order to become a Buddha, and at that time also dedicate to Bodhi. The mantra practitioner is like fearless, reciting in the second month. It is said that one should practice for one month without mixing flowers and other offerings, and for one month after mixing them. Also in the same scripture it is said: The number of secret mantras is three hundred thousand, I have probably said these. For sentient beings who are free from sin, for mantra practitioners who are completely pure, this number of recitations is taught, otherwise it is not so. Therefore, one should rely on the focus on the deity's body and the practice of wind to cultivate and attain Shamatha. The second is: when Shamatha is attained by focusing on the deity's body, etc., one should cultivate emptiness, as it is said in the Abhisamayalankara: In a garden or temple or cave or any place where one likes to be alone, there one should cultivate Bodhicitta.
