Yes. A mudra is a hand gesture, and a symbol is an attribute. In the third chapter of Abhidharmakosha, it says: "The first is the mandala of letters, the second is the mandala of symbols, the third is the hand gesture, the fourth is placing the image, the fifth is scattering flowers, and the sixth is the assembly mandala." It is said. In the twelfth chapter of Snyema, it says: "The image is made by painting, carving, casting, and new craftsmanship on Thangkas." It is said, so the fourth refers to both the casting etc. placed on the dust color and the canvas-painted mandala. Although there is no explanation for the remaining two, the fifth is easy to understand, and the sixth is that male and female yogis enter the likeness of the deity and stay in the position of the mandala, as explained in the practice summary etc., those are obvious. It is said that Dpa'bo Dorje made it, wanting to place a drop of perfume. In the General Tantra, three ways of placing the deity's body, attributes, seat, and place are mentioned. If all the limbs of the deity are drawn completely, it will take a long time, and if the limbs are missing, they will not be blessed. Therefore, drawing the attributes is praised, and it seems that it is often drawn in the mandala rituals. After drawing like that, check carefully whether it is correct, and correct the incorrect ones, as it says in the General Tantra: "After the mandala is completely drawn, after carefully meditating with the mind, check it many times below it, if a few out of a hundred are not good, then correct them again." It is said. Starting from drawing the mandala, it is not allowed to leave it empty without receiving empowerment, as it says in the General Tantra: "When doing bathing etc., place another visible mandala, when drawing the mandala, never leave it empty." It is said. After that, knowing that the drawn mandala has become clear in all aspects, smear the outer surface of the mandala with perfume water containing the five nectars recited with Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and the coiled one, and cleanse the wheel with the water recited with that mantra. Recite Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Vajra (藏文:བཛྲ,梵文天城体:वज्र,梵文罗马拟音:vajra,汉语字面意思:金刚), Mu (藏文:མུཿ,梵文天城体:मु,梵文罗马拟音:mu,汉语字面意思:穆), and invite the wisdom colors to descend, and then place the earth colors placed in the container in a secluded place. Although the offering to the colors is not mentioned here, it should be done as it is said for the Yethi ink dot, and wipe off the scattered colors with a cloth etc.

As stated by the Victorious One, these actions should be performed before applying scented water to the mandala. Thirdly, during the drawing of the mandala, there may be harm from obstacles such as water eruptions, wind, and clouds, caused by both gods and non-gods. At that time, if a method for removing each specific harm can be found, it should be done accordingly; if not, one should visualize the mandala house in the form of a palace, with the yellow wheel of ten spokes blessed by the ten extremely terrifying wrathful deities firmly residing at the tips of the spokes within the vajra fence, arrow net, and the empty space inside the canopy, rotating clockwise, and instantly stabilize the mandala house. One should also contemplate repelling all obstacles with the vajra nature of the ground, etc. This can also be done for other objects to be protected, simply by burning incense. The second part is divided into two: placing the vases and decorating the mandala. Firstly, the vases that have been previously blessed should be placed around the mandala in a clockwise direction. At this time, led by incense, the mandala should be circumambulated three times with various musical instruments and then placed, as stated in the ritual of the Hevajra Tantra. Prajñārakṣita said, "Vases, offerings, umbrellas, victory banners, music, cymbals, and songs are used to invite, and then placed in the mandala." This is in accordance with what was said. The location for placement, the garland and Vibhūti say it should be placed outside the fire pit, while Ratnarakṣita says that if there is a cemetery, it should be placed outside of it. Dārikapa says, "Outside the vajra enclosure, it should not be placed, as it becomes an obstacle." This statement is inconsistent with the former. Regarding the method of placement, the garland has already described the placement methods for the vases of Peaceful Vajra and Immovable Vajra, considering that it is easy to understand the placement methods of other vases from this. The method is: for Peaceful Vajra, the main vase is placed slightly to the right of the position directly in front of the east gate. On the left side of the gate, in clockwise order, are the vases of Vairochana, Buddha Eye, and Karma. Here, right and left are based on facing inward. To the right of the main vase are the vases of Form Vajra Mother, Dharma Realm Vajra Mother, and Yama's Destroyer.
