愿我以自己的财物、受用和权势而知足。愿一切众生完全从魔的罗网中解脱。愿一切众生都拥有安乐。愿一切恶趣永远空尽。无论何处的菩萨们，愿他们的一切愿望都得以实现。在那美好而喜悦的胜者坛城中。等等。这是由洛桑扎巴（宗喀巴）所作。 愿十方安住的诸佛菩萨垂念已故者某某。已故者某某，从无始轮回以来，行布施，守戒律，修禅定等，做了无量功德之本，或劝他人做，或随喜他人所做，以及其他有缘者，为了已故者，供养上师三宝，侍奉恭敬僧众，布施贫穷者，念诵陀罗尼咒语，宣讲佛经，进入坛城接受灌顶，净除罪障等，凭借这些功德之本的力量，已故者某某，即使因业力所致，将要或已经投生于六道轮回中的任何一道，愿这些功德之本都跟随他，伴随他。伴随之后，也能从六道各自的痛苦中解脱，迅速圆满成佛。如若不能如此，愿在所有的生世中，都能获得暇满人身。并且，愿具足七种高贵的功德，愿具足七种圣财。此外，愿在所有的生世中，不离见佛，不离听闻正法，不离侍奉圣僧。此外，愿在所有的生世中，都能行不求果报的布施，远离为求生存而投生的欲望。

May I be content with my own possessions, enjoyments, and power. May all sentient beings be completely liberated from the net of the demons. May all sentient beings have happiness. May all evil destinies be forever emptied. Wherever the Bodhisattvas reside, may all their aspirations be fulfilled. In that excellent and joyful mandala of the Victorious Ones. And so on. This was composed by the glorious Losang Drakpa (Tsongkhapa). May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing in the ten directions be mindful of the deceased, so-and-so. May the deceased, so-and-so, from beginningless samsara, have performed immeasurable roots of virtue such as giving, keeping moral discipline, and meditating; or have caused others to do so; or have rejoiced in what others have done; and also, for all those who have connections, have offered to the guru and the Three Jewels, served and revered the Sangha, given to the poor, recited dharani mantras, proclaimed the scriptures, entered the mandala and received empowerment, purified misdeeds, etc. Through the power of these roots of virtue, may the deceased, so-and-so, even if due to the force of karma, is about to be or has already been born in any of the six realms of samsara, may all these roots of virtue follow him, accompany him. And having accompanied him, may he also be liberated from the sufferings of each of the six realms, and quickly attain perfect enlightenment. If this is not possible, may he obtain a leisure and endowed human body in all lifetimes. And may he possess the seven noble qualities, and may he possess the seven sacred riches. Furthermore, may he never be separated from seeing the Buddha in all lifetimes, may he never be separated from hearing the sacred Dharma, may he never be separated from serving the noble Sangha. Furthermore, may he always give without expecting karmic results in all lifetimes, and may he be free from the desire to be born for the sake of existence.

May I keep pure morality! May I cultivate patience without hatred towards sentient beings! May I exert diligence to quickly accumulate all roots of virtue! May I enter into samadhi that completely eliminates the formless realms! May I realize and comprehend the meaning of the Perfection of Wisdom, inseparable from skillful means and great compassion! May the merit of the deceased (name) be dedicated to the excellent and joyful mandala of the Buddhas. This dedication is made by connecting the preceding and following verses, according to the circumstances.
