May there be no harm, may it always be stopped at once. Earth, water, fire, and wind, like medicine and the trees of monasteries, may all sentient beings always freely enjoy without hindrance. Cherish sentient beings as if they were your own life, may I cherish them even more than myself. May their sins ripen upon me, may all my virtues ripen upon them. Until any sentient being whatsoever is not liberated, therefore, even if I attain unsurpassed enlightenment, may I remain in samsara. Thus, remembering the meaning of these, do not be distracted, and generate strong desire three times a day for the objects of aspiration. The method of purifying sins in this way should be practiced as much as possible until signs of purification of sins arise. The signs are vomiting impure food in dreams, drinking yogurt and milk, and vomiting, seeing the sun and moon, walking in the sky, fire burning, being able to subdue buffaloes and black people, seeing the Sangha of monks and nuns, trees that produce milk, elephants, excellent herds of cattle, and ascending mountains and lion thrones and the tops of mansions, and hearing the Dharma in dreams, one should know that sins have been purified. As it is said in the Encouragement Dharani. Divide these into four sessions and practice them regularly every day for a long time. Even if there is no such leisure time, it is said that many sins can be purified if one completes the four powers every day without interruption. The complete antidote to sin is the four powers, and their rituals, following the son of the Conquerors, Shantideva, have been compiled into an easy-to-understand sequence. This method is adorned with the glory of higher realms, and is very respectful to those who uphold the teachings of the Buddhas. At the request of Paljor Zangpo, Lobsang Drakpa wrote it in Jampa Ling. May this virtue cause all the karmic obscurations of limitless beings to be purified, may they be free from all internal and external harms, and may they quickly attain the perfect state of Buddhahood. May this also cause the precious teachings of the Buddha to flourish, spread, and abide for a long time. What should be confessed? In the beginningless samsara, established as the nature of a great river, clinging to the self of persons and the self of phenomena

All the defilements of karma and afflictions accumulated by all the conceptualizations of grasping and being grasped, like a great river flowing with turbid water. In front of whom? In front of the victorious ones who possess great compassion, like the ritual, gathering together to make offerings, etc., from the perspective of not observing the three aspects of agent, object, and action. Rejoicing and dedication are: For the perfectly enlightened Buddhas and the Bodhisattvas who reside on the vast Bodhisattva grounds, as well as the noble Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and other ordinary beings' virtues, from the depths of my heart, I sincerely rejoice, and with that virtue as the main focus, I dedicate all the virtues of myself and others entirely to Bodhi. Taking refuge is: In the Sugatas who possess the qualities of abandonment and realization, until reaching the essence of Bodhi, I constantly take refuge. Its qualities possess three distinctions: the play of mind, that is, the Bodhicitta accomplished by the stainless, moon-like ultimate Bodhicitta, which is wisdom. Compassion is the supreme compassion without object, that is, even after becoming a Buddha, engaging in benefiting sentient beings, etc., the means possessing infinite qualities, these two, the Buddha and the yogi, each abiding in their own minds in the manner of their own realization. Taking refuge in the Dharma is abandoning all the conceptualizations of grasping and being grasped, and being definitely liberated from that, and the Bodhisattva is focused on their own Bodhi, because this is also present in the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, so the Bodhisattva who is more supreme than them, is the basis of all perfections, all things of Samsara and Nirvana become one like water flowing into the ocean, the Dharma of Suchness that becomes one in emptiness of self-nature. Taking refuge in the Sangha is completely liberated from the bonds of birth, old age, sickness, and death, having attained liberation, and created by the supreme great compassion that is superior to the Lesser Vehicle, possessing the two accumulations of increasing, abiding on the grounds such as Joyful and Immaculate, the many powerful Bodhisattvas who have entered the doctrine and possess vows. Generating the mind is the aspiration Bodhicitta with pure intention, and the ripening fruit of that cause, the pure practice Bodhicitta.
