If your wisdom penetrates deeply, these three seem to need to be delved into. What I said before was a questioning based on conduct. Now, with questions based on view and meditation, please abandon premature discouragement and consider these. In general, the Buddha's teachings are as deep and vast as the ocean. In particular, at the juncture of view and meditation, the foundation of the five aggregates' flourishing, the dangers of straying and falling are very great, so careful consideration is needed. Even if it is a temporary path, what if it goes wrong for just one day? This seems to be a permanent undertaking, so please carefully consider how detailed the various aspects of straying need to be. Now, those practitioners mainly devote themselves to view and meditation, therefore, the wisdom that realizes emptiness must be inseparable from the practice of calm abiding. If this is the case, view and meditation can be combined, and calm abiding and insight can be united. Moreover, first, if there is no stable calm abiding like glue, one cannot focus the mind on emptiness. If there is no good samadhi that focuses the mind on emptiness, then in the post-meditation state, all phenomena will not appear like illusions. Therefore, before insight or using insight to meditate on meaning, calm abiding is very important, and calm abiding also has two enemies, what is dullness? Is it the same as sleep or not? If it is the same, then how can it be explained that Asanga and others distinguish between the two? If it is not the same, then what is the difference between the two? Also, when in samadhi, how does dullness arise in coarse and subtle ways? What are the antidotes to prevent these two from arising? Also, it is said that mindfulness and awareness are very important. All practitioners are constantly saying it like the wind, what are the respective definitions and applications of these two? Is just not being distracted mindfulness? Is observing whether one is distracted awareness? If so, what is the meaning of being distracted and not being distracted? Is it being distracted and not being distracted from one such object? Or is it that not clinging to the object and just letting the mind not wander is mindfulness, and observing whether it wanders is awareness? Also, it is said that the meditation of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality is the pinnacle of meditation. How are clarity and non-conceptuality recognized? The meaning of clarity is that the mind is clear about the object

Is an object of focus necessary? Without clinging to an object of focus, it is sufficient for this mind to not wander anywhere, remaining in a state of clarity and lucidity. Does the meaning of non-discrimination also require focusing on one object of focus, without discriminating anything else? Without clinging to an object of focus, is it sufficient for this mind to not discriminate anything, or simply to abide without wandering? I wonder. If, as in the first answer, mindfulness must also be unwavering from a single object of focus. Vigilance also needs to monitor whether or not it deviates from that single object of focus. Clarity also needs a clear object of focus. Non-discrimination also needs to abide in one object of focus, without discriminating anything else. If it is said that way, if such a calm abiding possessing mindfulness, vigilance, clarity, and non-discrimination is incomplete in the ultimate sense, then the union of calm abiding and insight, how is it to be done? If it is complete, then when such a calm abiding is combined with insight, insight also relies on an object of focus, so it becomes meditation with an object of focus, not meditation without an object of focus. If it is said that way, how should one answer? Therefore, some think like this: all of these do not cling to an object of focus, this mind does not interfere with anything, does not wander, does not stray, does not discriminate, but abides quietly, and in that state, how long can this mind maintain a state of clarity and lucidity? In that state, all five of mindfulness, vigilance, bliss, clarity, and non-discrimination are fully present, and the union of calm abiding and insight is also this. In short, meditation in the ultimate sense, meditation on emptiness, is the actual practice of Mahamudra. The first of the six yogas, individually gathering, is also this. Some also think that way. Whether all of these are correct needs to be understood from the sutras, tantras, and their commentaries. The commentaries on the instructions of the Buddhas are also known in India as the founders of the two great chariots, namely the lineage of Nagarjuna and his son, and the lineage of Asanga and Vasubandhu, determined as these two. Your mindfulness, vigilance, and clarity and non-discrimination, as spoken by those two, do not agree. In particular, the great scholar Kamalashila (藏文:ཀ་མ་ལ་ཤཱི་ལ།,梵文天城体:Kamalaśīla,梵文罗马拟音:Kamalaśīla,汉语字面意思:莲花戒) has explained the three stages of meditation, so...
