May I effortlessly travel through countless Buddha-fields with unobstructed miraculous powers, and may I completely perfect all the vast practices of a bodhisattva! Having been born in a pure realm, may I primarily go to impure realms with unobstructed miraculous powers aroused by intense love, and may I be able to establish all sentient beings on the perfectly pure path praised by the buddhas by teaching the Dharma according to their individual capacities! By quickly perfecting these extraordinary practices, may I easily attain the state of a king for the sake of limitless beings! Whenever I relinquish the aggregates of life, may Amitābha, surrounded by a sea of retinues, clearly appear before my eyes, and may my being be filled with faith and compassion! As soon as the appearances of the bardo arise, may the eight bodhisattva sons unerringly show me the path, and having been born in Sukhāvatī, may I guide beings in impure realms through emanations! In all my lives before attaining such a supreme state, may I always have a basis for practicing the teachings of the buddhas, both scriptural and realized, through pure study, contemplation, and meditation! May that basis never be separated from the adornment of the seven qualities of higher realms! In all such circumstances, may I remember my previous states and gain the recollection of past lives! In all my lives, may I see all of existence as devoid of essence, and may I be inspired by the qualities of liberation, and may I take ordination in the Dharma-vinaya well-spoken by the Bhagavan! At the time of ordination, may I not be stained by even the slightest transgression, may I perfect the aggregates of discipline, and may I become like the unmoving bhikṣu who attained great awakening! In all lifetimes, may we obtain and never be separated from the doors of samadhi such as going forth bravely, the eyes such as the eye of flesh, and the superknowledges such as knowing the realm of magical power. Furthermore, in all lifetimes, may we obtain vast wisdom that can independently discern what to accept and reject. May we obtain clear wisdom that can distinctly differentiate, without mixing, the subtle aspects of defilement and purification as they are. May we obtain swift wisdom that can completely prevent the arising of thoughts of non-understanding, wrong understanding, and doubt as soon as they arise. May we obtain profound wisdom that cannot be measured by others and that enters without relying on the words and meanings of the scriptures. In short, may we be like the venerable Manjushri, who, with wisdom free from all faults of perverse wisdom, is skilled in means to discern the words and meanings of the scriptures through the door of skillful wisdom, and who has reached the culmination of all the practices of a bodhisattva. Thus, having easily obtained vast, clear, swift, and profound wisdom, may we become one who guides the fortunate, defeats wrongdoers, and delights the wise, and may we reach the perfection of skill in explanation, debate, and composition, which are directed towards all the scriptures of the Victorious Ones. Furthermore, in all lifetimes, having prevented all thoughts of focusing primarily on one's own benefit and all thoughts of laziness and discouragement towards the vast practices of a bodhisattva, may we take on the benefit of others and reach the other shore of supreme courage, and through the door of skillful bodhicitta, may we reach the culmination of all the practices of a bodhisattva, like the venerable Avalokiteshvara. Furthermore, in all lifetimes, when engaging in the benefit of oneself and others, may we be skilled in means to destroy all demons, heretics, and external adversaries, and may we reach the culmination of all the practices of a bodhisattva, like the venerable Lord of Secrets. In all lifetimes, in order to perfect the practice of the enlightenment of diligence that has abandoned laziness, from the initial generation of the mind of enlightenment, without ever being distracted for even a moment,
