若将言说与修行合为一体则安乐，于净土中出生的强烈愿望是于彼出生的主要原因。又，了知净土的功德并再三用心忆念非常重要，因此首先应当赞叹净土。从娑婆世界向西，经过百千万俱胝无数的佛刹，有一殊胜的净土名为极乐。彼处土地以诸多珍宝严饰，极其赏心悦目，平坦如掌。除了珍宝所成的山以外，没有黑色的山，清净而洁白。庄严悦意，清净之地的边际，有七宝所成的水树林和珍宝多罗树的行列，重重围绕，犹如众星拱月。如是土地，为各种树木所庄严。每一棵树都有七种：根、干、枝、叶、花、瓣、果。有些树的根是金，干是银，枝是吠琉璃，叶是玻璃，瓣是珊瑚，花是红珍珠，果是石精。有些树的根等七部分，各由一种珍宝所成。同样，也有由两种珍宝、三种、四种、五种、六种珍宝所成的。甚至根等每一部分，也由七种珍宝所成。如是等等的树木上，悬挂着宝冠、耳环、项链、手镯、臂钏、指环、金腰带、金网、珍珠网，以及一切珍宝铃铛的网等，随所欲求，以百千珍宝严饰，遍满佛土。清晨，从四方吹来阵阵香风，风中混合着各种美妙的天香，摇动着具有众多妙音的珍宝树木，散发出悦意的芬芳，无数赏心悦目的鲜花飘落在广阔的珍宝地上，那花

That land is adorned with many precious jewels, extremely pleasing to the eye, and as flat as the palm of one's hand. Apart from the mountains made of precious jewels, there are no black mountains, pure and white. The boundaries of the beautiful, pleasing, and pure land are surrounded by water-tree forests made of seven jewels and rows of precious Tala trees, like stars surrounding the moon. Such a land is adorned with various kinds of trees. Each tree has seven parts: roots, trunk, branches, leaves, flowers, petals, and fruits. Some trees have roots of gold, trunks of silver, branches of lapis lazuli, leaves of crystal, petals of coral, flowers of red pearls, and fruits of stone essence. Some trees have seven parts, each made of one kind of precious jewel. Similarly, there are also those made of two kinds of precious jewels, three, four, five, and six kinds.
